Actually I forgot to mention I was giving them a foliar feed about twice a week from mid veg to early flowering with kelp/Seasol, Fish Hydrolysate, Humic Fulvic acids, and a few drops of Dr Bronner's Castille Soap as a surfactant. I hadn't thought about it as a 'branching facilitator' just as some leaf food as they always look really happy and almost 'electric' after a foliar feed so that's another potential benefit.i think every three weeks in veg , hit the roots , when you want the plant to branch more hit the foliage and branches , after i see how the branching goes ill hit or miss it , with autos you haven't much time so hitting them in the right spot at the right time is a bonus , i noticed after i top my auto a week later i hit the foliage , seems to be that timing is good for me. this is the second time i have done it and second time its worked like i wanted
