NTH’s Grow Corner

Good morning fine folk. Life is good in and around the grow cabin. Have my high humidity thingy under control I think. Added a fan and have things rocking my way. Here’s some pics.

Looking good at your place NTH!

That Black Widow is a "neat" plant. :Rasta:

Thanks Smoke. I’ve been so busy I haven’t really been tending to them like normal. Almost to the point of neglect. They seem to like me better when I’m not around. Haha. Hey I’m not butthurt at all!

Mine are the same way NTH. "Just leave us alone and we'll make you happy!" :)

Good morning fine folk. Hope all is well. I have a question. What would be a good overall foliar spray for flowering cannabis? BTK spray is what I’m seeing as being recommended if I’m comprehending what I’m reading. (Which could be highly unlikely). Haha. I think I’m seeing some signs of bugs. A waxy film with little black spots on underside of leaves. Maybe a little leaf biter action also. Just trying to get ahead of it. Thanks!!!!

BTK is specific to caterpillars.
If you're thinking mites you're better off with insecticidal soap or maybe SNS, although I don't know how well that one works since I can't get it up here.

Well, obviously no neem in flower once pistils are present, so some kind of a true soap is a good choice. Safer's is one and our sponsors have others that I'm not familiar with.

The soaps work to dissolve the exoskelton of the bugs, dehydrating and killing them that way. A fitting end to those little bastards if you ask me.

And they're generally safe to use right up close to harvest. They only work when wet and make direct contact with the bugs so a bug landing on a freshly sprayed leaf will be largely unaffected. So, spray your plant well, starting underneath the leaves and stem and soil, and finish with top leaf surfaces. Let dry and then rinse with clean water.

Spray every couple of days for a week or so to disrupt the bugs' life cycle and then maybe every three days until you haven't seen any traces of the bastards for at least a week.
