Not much to update besides pictures
gave them a good water phd with calmag yesterday

Not really tying anything under the net anymore im satisfied with the even table of buds i have now.

The remaining stretch shouldnt be too much worse thanks to the net holding stuff down and it hardening under the net.

This was at 530 this morning

These were from when i came home a few hours ago...
Looking very nice buds are starting to form and again everything is fairly even

Also this weekend im going to a masquerade party as lame as that sounds i decided that if i was going and had to wear a stupid mask i might as well express myself with it!

So in honor of 420 magazine and the lovely hobby we all share i present my mask lol

I actually pulled a decent sized fan from the runt when i cut my clones and just traced it on there.
I thought about cutting some leaves fresh just before the party and hot gluing them to my mask for the night lol but this is fine and less risky lol

Sorry about the other night that bong was just what i needed after a long day and nothing else to do in the tent i layed down and passed out!

So like i said a few times now

Never give up on a clone!
Keep nurturing it and let nature do its thing.

Here is the male i cloned and gave up on when i realized it had rooted it had 1 decent root out of the rapid rooter it was completely dry at that point.

I put it in the bucket and a few days later growth started again and now there are a couple new roots poking out as well.

Obviously this little guy has been through alot and is in bad shape but no worries im gunna nurse him back to health in no time!

I went ahead put him in a solo cup with some soil watered witb phd cal mag water and put him in my closet/veg tent lol

Im gunna get some rooters for those in the last picture... Eventually just very busy week so havent had a chance to get to the shop.

The tent is looking amazing!

Again ive stopped training them under the next and just letting them grow up toward the light.

For a first time scrog i think i did a pretty good job of filling it and handling the stretch...

Beginners luck ill never be able to pull this off again lol

Gotta go out of town sunday to tuesday so ill feed sunday morning before lights out that will hold them until i get back tuesday night..

Ill wait to change to the hps until i get back to limit them stretching too much while im gone!

Gunna be using manything while im gone for sure lol

Yes especially dealing with this dry winter air my closet stays nice and warm and the dome keeps the clones nice and humid

The net is definitely getting thick

Starting to stretch quiet a bit now gotta be more careful and control the temps a little better its been kinda wild this week

Yes its gunna be a long harvest tho thats some time from now...

Luckily the sativa in the back will get chopped well after the 2 indica are so that will help

Im finally back with an update.

Very long weekend and tho i wont go into details with you i will say our justice system is a joke

I got back in pretty late yesterday so i didnt have much time to do too much.

They have definitely grown while i was away...

Besides a couple of hiccups this past week i think ill be able to get things back on track.

I stripped alot of the little stuff under the net.
There isnt much under there anymore
I will be defoiling on day 21 to kinda open the canopy a little

A little uneven because of genetics but whats important is the space is used more efficiently

Also i came home to a clone!

I transplanted it into a solo cup with some soil and watered with r/o water.

One of the solos i kept around just to see the sex finally showed some pistils so im going to uppot it to a 1 gallon and reveg it.
Ill probably toss the other freebie... I have more

Space is a little tight with the bucket now the clone and the 1gal but the cold winter weather seems to be breaking early this year so i might be able to move to the garage soon

I couldnt resist and i put my HPS in.
I got home early enough that it wasnt too hot trying to switch it out.

Ive also trimmed just about everything under the net at this point still a little bit to go but im taking it slow

The plan is still to defoil at day 21 the net is very packed.

They will need water tomorrow...
Just phd with cal/mag

I feel a little out of sync with the tent and plants but ill get it together soon

Quick update

Watered with calmag phd to about 7.0

Cleared the last of the growth under the net

I also picked off about 5 fan leaves in the canopy because it was clearly covering a bid completely

Other than that im waiting for day 21 to really defoil.

The stretch is just about over but i want to make sure before i defoil and slow things down vertically..

I still have plenty of space to grow between the light so at this point its safe to say they wont be outgrowing the tent lol

Just before lights out this morning

Very excited about this grow so far everything is going as planned
And problems have been to a minimum (knock on wood)

Oh also their drinking like crazy so now their water schedule is
Sunday feed
Tuesday water
Thursday water
Sunday feed

it blows my freakin mind!

But the even crazier part is looking from today to 7 weeks from now well be saying the same thing!

Ive mentioned this before...

I want this to be a reference for not only myself but anyone whos followed along or anyone who stumbles upon it later after its finished.

My night and day temps have drifted a little more than usual..
I have to keep the window open to keep the tent cool.
And if i dont close it when the light goes off...

Then its just straight nighttime winter air which is not good.

Noticed a little more stretch recently because of this.

To fix this i just close the window before lights out and open the vent
I keep my thermostat to 70 so it doesnt get warmer than about 72 in the tent during the dark cycle.

I played with my camera and got a few good shots that i thought were pretty amazing.

The northern lights from nirvana are starting to frost up a little.
And you can see the bud starting to form under the pistils.

The northern lights i crossed with the random sativa
Isnt frosting yet and pistils are still growing
Its a huge plant and without the screen i wouldnt be able to harvest this plant.
It takes up so much of the screen
In this picture besides the bud my thumb should be covering everything else is it

I dont think ill ever not scrog again!

Future reference the modular scrog net that just hooks to your tent poles works dont get me wrong it serves its purpose but the plants kinda push the net up abd make it uneven in some spots?

Like i said obviously it does the job but in the future if i have space im going to do like scrogdawg and build a permanent one.

I might even do a double net like he did and let them really stretch vertically if you havent seen his journal hes definitely one to check out his scrog looks way better than mine lol

Im glad everyone is enjoying the journal so far. Ill update with pics once they bounce back from their feeding
