Ahhhhhh the memories....... :dreamy::dreamy:

well had a HUGE heat wave and it was like 80 in my house, 90 in the flower, and 100 in veg! not good! Xo the veg room does not have a ac unit in it, and its ALMOST impossible to hook one in there, a portable ac unit wouldnt work well really either : /

oh thats shitty what about a better fresh air exchange pulling more fresh air in and exhausting the heat more bigger fan maybe or maybe a bigger intake vent

RIGHT NOW - i have a bathroom 70cfm fan pulling OUT air, but the room is sealed, like you said i need better FRESH air intake, but the only place i can put it would be in the fake door that is to my roomates room..... LUCKLY, its my house so if i want to vent air from his room... well you get the picture ; P hes pretty easy going as it is so he was fine with it, right now his head is on other side of wall of my grow room and he says he can faintly hear it if he is really still, lol.... but im probly going to go to homedepot today and buy another 70cfm fan and install so it takes IN fresh air from his room,

ONLY thing im not sure about is the placement of the fan on the door, :hmmm::hmmm:

should i put it near the floor and shoot the air ^ or >..... or should i put it at the top and shoot it down or > or ^......

I THINK my best option would be to put near the bottom and put fan toward plants so it is pushing fresh air right UNDER the lights so the hot air can be 'pushed', in a sense, toward the top of the room, where the exhaust fan is pulling air out.

well you want more pulling air pulling out then in to keep the cabin under negative pressure but yeah from the research ive done its best to half half the intake as you have out take seems to be a common setup and pull your fresh air in from down low its cooler the down low and take the hot air out from the top i would put a bigger exhaust fan in and use the old fan for the intake just my opinion

Cool air loves to hang low while hot air always rises.

In my 3x3x6 space I get away w/ one 178 cfm Can-Fan to exhaust. I actually set it up to pull the air out through the 400watt light/reflector. This exhausts the old nasty air and cools my light at the same time. I put some 4inch ducting at the bottom for a passive intakes. Creates great negative pressure. The exhaust fan needs to be be more powerful than your intake.

i have my door taped to my frame atm and if i seal the door completly the exhast fan will suck the door of the frame because the rest of the room is sealed lol, once i cut hole from other room and ad a fan presure wont be a factor its just circlation of air, and my veg room is all florescent lights so i cant vent my lights like i do in my flower,

If you guys havent swing by my dead head grow and check that set up out ; P

SOOO, after the heat/drought that happened couple days ago, i gave them the spa treatment basicly lol, normaly i water them in there room and they get just enough so they dont leak all over my floor, so i put them in my "tub of love" and gave them a good old ph'ed water flush, they all thanked me and started to perk up right quick!

Here is my Tub of Love in action lol

Put it at the bottom, that's the coolest air.
