Good grow. If i wouldn't have got such a great deal on my set-up i was going to go the bucket route as well. Inspired by Pit and a few other growers on here. I am still going to try it when i get more room. Those things are going to be big producers if its a good blueberry strain. BB is my favorite strain as well. You seem to be rockin it, easy to do with all the good info here. It's gettin so you can't toss a rock without hitting a master grower up in here.:nicethread::bravo:

Just finished a Res change...added a little urine (on Pits recommendation) Just to balance things. SF, THAT'S SOME FUNNY $HIT. Pit really could mess with us if he were so inclined. ROLMFAO

I really really just did a res change. Mucho Nutes, 6 cups each of A and B to reach 1200PPM. I am starting with more water though.

I was considering starting 30 hrs of darkness today but I'll wait till tomorrow when I can stabilize the Rez.

On another note, I was pouring water over into a bucket, outside my "room" with the door open and 2000W's of HPS blazing when I here a voice, what's going on here? My brother slipped past my wife (who was vacuuming) and right into the basement. I don't think he saw anything "green". I just closed the door and started for upstairs. He had no choice but to follow. He then asked "what are you hiding". Nothing!!! In the kitchen he saw we had jugs and jugs of water. He said making beer again? I said yeah for my son in college.
Now what to do? Wife doesn't have med card yet. She is being referred to a pain management specialist. Even with a card I'd still rather no on knows.
Aarrrrh.
 
I take it your brother is not too MJ friendly? Thats a tough one, what would be worst case senerio if he did find out? Good Luck my friend, hope it all works out.
Just a thought, maybe you should make some beer as well, and let him "accidently" see that, maybe that would confirm his suspitions on the beer production? Anyway, good luck!

The way I look at it is, I don't want to burden people with a secret. There are so many downsides, and almost no upsides to sharing your garden. Hope everything works out for you, and your nosy bro (LOL).

FWI
I change to straight water for the 30 hrs...I may leave the water for 3 days after the lights are on 12/12. I like to clean them out real well from the higher PPM (yours isnt really high) but I go to plain water then 600-900 1st week bloom. maybe run your fresh stuff for 3 days to use them..then drain to plain water for the dark time

It's a funny thing. You think you've prepared yourself for these situations, and then they happen so fast. My wife and I discussed the difference between him "thinking" he knows, and me talking to him and "confirming" he knows. Either way could be a loose cannon.
I don't think he is MJ unfriendly, just not MJ savvy. Ironically he is also one of two brothers (I have five) that could really use MMJ. But this is not the way I would choose to introduce. My other bro had a script for THC "pills" (whatever they are called), and could have his med card tomorrow if he wanted. He is not so MJ friendly (yet). It's funny my Mom (RIP) was hipper the him. She told him to try the "real" thing.

Anyway my plan is to let it ride and see if he is talking to anyone else, or says something to me.
 
Not a bad plan, you could be thinking about it WAY more than him. Hopefully he was satisfied with the beer production answer and hasn't given it another thought. Hang in there, don't do anything drastic!!

I was just hanging out with him. He knows his way around vehicles and was fixing a little issue with mine. Nothing was said, it may come up some day, but obviously not a big deal to him.

Just a reminder to stay on my toes.

Hmmm...Sage advice. I never thought far enough ahead to inquire about the full spectrum of veg to flower switch.

A couple of questions to see how this should work.

DNF recommends using veg nutes for the first week or two of bloom, I was planning one week. Should I do this? Does the fresh water flush have to coordinate with the "lights out"?

Or should I as you (Pit) say use up the fresh nutes for a couple of days and flush and flip then?

My big girls are now about 14" They and I are ready :yummy:

OMG something I have forgotten to include in my updates Is the Wall of aroma that smacks you in the face when entering the "room". Scrubber is working to perfection. It vents into my basement and there isn't a trace of smell, unless I'm working with the door open and then it reeks (in a fabulous way).
 
Looks and sounds like you've built yourself a great grow room. I'd have to say it's the best I've seen for a first timer, great job, looks like you have been growing for years!!
