Noreastfog, 12 Pot Ebb & Grow, First Ever Grow

Hi again everyone it's time to show my Blueberry family. It would seem I have everything from old ladies to tiny babies. All healthy though.

So I got a call (recorded message) from my Power company and there is a planned power outage (2 1/2 hrs) for upgrades for Sunday starting at 4 AM.

Are my ladies able to tolerate the lights out and an interrupted schedule?

Looks great NEF!!!

Where's the power outage happening during your lighting schedule? You can't probably add it on to the end of your cycle, otherwise I don't think two hours of less light will matter. More light could be an issue.

Hope you're well man. You should be proud of those beautiful ladies!!!

:goodjob:

Always,
SF

no problem with a power loss that short

Hey fellow Bucketheads.

Didn't know if you've seen these charts yet, but they've been the best I've seen for a visually representation of where nutes get the most benefit at certain PH levels.

Thought I'd share these with the club members.

Y'all have a great day. Can't wait to see some more pics tomorrow.

SF

I love these charts!!

Slo those charts are SWEET! Thanks SF

So the girls are spaced a little better. The area they occupy in the room is approx 6' X 6'. The rest of the "stuff" occupies about 3' X 6'. It's going to be tight but we will see.

I wonder if I would be better off discarding three "smalls" to really let the large ones have growing space and me work space. Does anyone have thoughts on this?

The next question I have is "super cropping". Do? Don't do? When? Slo you seemed to have great success with yours, how much before you switched to bloom did you do it? I did check out some "youtubes", but still nervous to do.

Now to the room temp with two 1k HPS's (non vented), it did get up into the high 80's 86 was probably the max though. I had heard that I should consider 88 as the absolute max. I'm hoping that I won't reach that high again, I have "infloor" heat that I have had on a little just to moderate the "lights off" chill, it's off now. Which is why I have my pots and controller on 2" foam insulation. Anyway I'm hoping the normal basement chill and ventilation will keep it in range.

The girls really seemed to like all that light though :thumb:

Pics tomorrow at lights off. I think they will show noticable growth

Hey Guys!

Thanks for the kudos on the charts. I'd like to take credit, but this nice chap supplied them some time ago to a question I had regarding PH.

ThatBoyDean's Simple Grow

He was gracious enough to say, go ahead and post them. I think he got them from a book or another reference, but he did put in the time to get them here. No biggie.

Looking forward to the new Pics. Can't have enough pics right?

Okay, I just took some pics to post. I will get to them in a bit, first a question.

It looks as if I have bud sites on several if not most of the plants. I am/was planning to veg until at least Fri.

Lights are probably coming on while I type. I did not do the 30 hr lights out, or any lights out routine, except for the approx 2.5 hr power outage I had Sat night.

If it is "Buds" (gr) do I simply switch to 12-12 or should I follow through with a 30 hr blackout...or other???

Hey NEF.

No problem with the bud sites. You're in control, telling the plant when to flower, 5,7,9 weeks, doesn't really matter. Before you decide/whenever you decide to change to flower, go ahead and hit em with the 30 hours of darkness.

Looking forward to see what's doing.

Best,
SF

Ahhh! feeling MUCH better now. SF, shows your character when your able to pay compliments in the face of your continuing bad luck. Thanks

McBudz thanks for stopping in, I'll certainly take that compliment from you.

I just went back and reviewed some of the early pics, I can hardly believe it myself. Thanks everyone for the help :thankyou:

:peace:

Rolling on the floor laughing!

At the rate I'm going I'm going to be watching you and Slo harvesting pounds of awesome bud. McBudz will have two/perhaps three harvests in by then, and I'll be out trying to score some "Mexican brown" ditch weed.

LOL, because I will have been the guinea pig for posting every mistake and obstacle that I'm encountering.

It's all good. I'm having fun doing it.

Thanks for watching!

Peace NEF

DAMN!! lookin good, Those are some sweet bushes you have there. One thing I would suggest before you get too far into your flowering cycle, is to prune away some of the bottom branches. They will mostly just yield popcorn, they waste your plants energy, and it's nice to get good air flow under the canopy. Other than that, looks like you got it handled.
