Nobody's COB Perpetual: Various Strains & Some Edible Fun At Times In A Tiny Tent

We have so much of that stuff around we can't give it away!

Are those tins airtight?
I think terpinator might have done a huge promo recently to get their name out there via giveaways. I had not heard much about the product other than the giveaway.

I might try something different by using a different flower nute on the PTW and see if there is noticeable results.

The tins are airtight. Each has three clasps, popping two lets you open the lid with one swoop. Some people claim that stainless steel is gentler than glass. IDK, that seems possible but it's negligible at best. I think there is less clumping because the tin's volume is more horizontal than vertical.

The 'small' holds anywhere from 20g to a zip depending on density.
The 'large' holds 2 zips of fluffy to 3 of dense.
The '2L' can hold prob up to a half pound of dense.

The small and large take the small bovida packets, the 2l takes the medium, or you can just put a small in there or none like me. Living on the edge.

rh is 50 in the house now, just moved the ww from a 62 in the jar to the large, after 24 hrs in the large it's at 65, so yep, tight.

Just running through. Hope you and your fam are having a great night.

Nice day, peaceful night, working horses and a kid's soccer game and eating tortilla soup cause it's cold and wet out. Not your level of cold and wet or even close, but cold for us.

So I am jamming my radio show on the headphones and burning a blunt from time to time outside by the gas pit...lol.

ur lungs better yet?

Still coughing up a lot of stuff. Gross, sorry. But feeling better all around. It's just one of those colds that hang on forever.

I love having a fire in the winter. When it is about 30f all snowy and still out, we start a fire outside. Dressed in parkas and mittens. I don't really drink much, maybe a beer every few months. But for winter fire nights ,I get some Guinness or other dark beer, heat a poker and caramelize the beer. It is just heaven to this northern girl. Want some now, but I have none:confused:

There are plenty of snowy days ahead.

I used to drink plenty of beer. I have never heard of that with the poker. And a lot of my beer is consumed outdoors. Is it a northern thing? Can you only poke certain beers?

I just dig outside. Even when it's nasty. Fires are cool, gas lanterns, indirect lighting. Ahhhhhh stoner heaven.

I hate the lung crud. I got it really bad in 14-15 winter.
I had to look up beer poking. I had no idea such a thing existed. Huh.
Holy, Jesus, not just me. Sometimes I feel like I am isolated from cool.

Bock beer is really good poked. I'm originally from Minnesota and we have a brewery called Schells. They make a great bock and another dark, dark beer called Schmaltz Alt.They come out in early spring.Generally, the darker the better. Pilsners don't work. German tradition I think. It is a very Northern thing. It kinda makes a beer flavored thick froth on the top. Kinda like a melted frothy marshmallow that tastes like beer. The warmer beer gets you wasted really fast. You don't want to leave the poker in the beer for long. I suggest heavy pottery steins or something heatproof when doing this. For obvious reasons solo cups are a bad choice.

Pick a nice cool night and do it up. You gotta try it once, especially if you have been a regular beer drinker. They probably a have YouTube tutorial on it.

Aluminum is also very bad to use. Something with a handle is a plus.

Yup, hot poke bock on YouTube. We used bigger wrought iron poker's in a fire pit.

I have a yen for a coffee stout now and a fire.

Well good morning everyone. No photos today, going to try the beer thing this weekend. Going to do it in private since it has a possibility of me assing it up. I need to get beer first. Something dark and stout....should be easy enough.

There are two little roots on the second raspberry d clone. So either today or tomorrow I will get it in a #2. No big rush. I will have to cut some of my supersoil that is not fully cooked yet (just a couple weeks in) with some FFOF like I did for clone1.

The veg plants got 330ppm/6.6/1.5L among them, mostly buddha grow, seaplex, tea and protekt. a touch of ca/mg.

The GC got 300ppm/6.5/1L, touch of buddha bloom and sweet and mammothp. This plant is really starting to yellow the fans, seems I am removing 2-3 that are toast daily. I gave it a first look at the trichomes, there about 50/50 clear/hazy, easy 2 weeks left IMO. The buddha bloom is .3 water sol N, and I am barely giving it any. Do I chase the yellowing or let it be? I will probably skirt the fence with the buddha bloom over the next couple days. I would feel better if the pistols were more along....

The RD got 730ppm/6.6/1.5L, 4ml of Botainicare bloom, mammothp, protekt, tea and even a touch of BB. I hope to fuck this is some awesome smoke, cause I am going to have quite a bit, and then the two clones. It can always go in the edible pile. We have had pistols for a few days. Past week I have been supercropping sites 2-5 a day. I still have a foot on the lights, and would feel better if this was the only plant in the tent. Very aggressive bloomer, it has shoots from bottom nodes going up 18" to get to the canopy. Do I screen this girl or let her be?

I am about to have some more trim from the GC, so today I am going to decarb the remaining AK trim so I can cook it down in the 1.5c of oil I have left for edibles, plus, I need the freezer space.

Heat poker or stainless steel skewer until red. Stick into beer trying not to hit bottom of sides with the poker. Less than 5 seconds( I like 4) and you're done. If you don't like it you only used one beer. Don't get drunk and burn yourself. You can try different lengths of time. You don't want hot beer by any means. Enjoy.

So, does it taste different at 2 seconds vs 5, how so. Am I going to use 300 beers attempting to find the proper combination? We are targeting the foam right not the beer?

Less time= less froth. Just start at 4 seconds, watch the reaction and go from there. It's very easy. Don't over think it.
It's going to be cold as balls tomorrow, Matzo soup is on the menu. I am going to go pick up a couple chocolate stouts (place sells singles nearby) to try this with tomorrow, I already have welding gloves and plenty of stainless steel pokey things and tempered glass (not safe in CA.)
