Nobody's COB Perpetual: Various Strains & Some Edible Fun At Times In A Tiny Tent

You a fan of Austin City Limits? Loved that show.I'm pretty sure I saw the Flatlanders on there a time of two.

I'm listening to Shady grove by Garcia and Grisman.:love::love:

Awww.... Son of a ....I just broke my 20 yr. old glass chillum. My favorite smoke piece.:(Poop.

Shit, that is why I hate glass. I rarely use glass bc I leave it on the hood of the car, or a dog tail catches it. I have a couple pieces, the small one stays out. I need another chillum as well. In 6 days in sep I broke about 300 bucks of glass.

Shady Grove is great. I missed the RSD re-release....

I love ACL, been to a few tapings, as I used to live there in the 80s. The recent Radiohead and Herbie Hancock (Jan 18-prob the best show i've seen in a long time) are amazing.

On American Routes tonight Joe Ely was telling a story about picking up Townes Van Zandt while Townes was hitchhiking. Their first meeting when Joe was younger. Townes said he had been in San Fran where he recorded his first LP and was hitchhiking back to Houston (home at the time). He opened his backpack to give joe an LP. He only had a backpack of LPs and a guitar while hitchhiking across half the US and a desert.

Man I've been slacking on the ACL. I haven't had normal cable TV i a long time, I only stream really.

It looks like they have been on there a few times. Guess I know what I am doing for bed.

What?!!! Radio head, what?!! Is it on the Youtubes?

You broke my brain...gotta find it.
IDK if its' on youtube, they copyright the crap out of everything. I have it on dvr.

If you find it, wait till your lungs are 90% so you can get baked as fucked and chill to 2 hours of that.

About to put on Making Movies after the weekly radio show.

In grow related thought, I am glad I up potted the RD, I think I am getting a little more stretch because of this....I already have almost 5" nodes and pistols along the supercropped sites. If I don't jack this up she should yield pretty well. Will be adding more light to about 50+w per foot this week.

2 in flower got 2L/430ppm/6.5 - Sweet, mammoth-p, tea, few ml of buddha bloom, pro-tekt.
Pass on the veg group today. Prob give 1L to both flower plants tonight, just water and molasses for the GC and maybe around 300ppm w botanicare bloom for the RD.

I was looking back at the RD, it's funny to think that I gave it a marginal status as a seed, took forever to sprout. Maybe that is why the clones are slow. Little different now that it's matured a bit.

I was smelling the GC, it's pretty faint. If necessary we can finish it outside the tent if things get too hairy in the tent in the next 2-3 weeks. CC says 60 days....pistols are quite white still hence me giving some more nutes today.

The first RD clone that I put in the #2 has some good looking new growth. The sixth is looking very perky, and being at day 10 and not heading south...I am pretty positive I will have a pair of these. I need to get a photo in a day or so.

I 'shifted' 'carefully' the Green Crack and Raspberry Diesel so that the Raspberry Diesel can crowd the Green Crack more comfortably.

GC-350ppm/6.5/1.25L-sweet, seaplex, karma and buddha bloom up to 350 or so.
RD-500ppm/6.5/2L-sweet, mammoth-p, tea and 4ml of Botanicare Bloom
PTW and 707-?/6.5/500ml-3ml Big Bloom, seaplex, pro-tekt
WWc, Nagual, BBa-300ppm/6.6/1l-seaplex, tea, karma and a touch of Buddha Grow (introducing N, barely any .5% sol and I used drops of it, maybe 50-75ppm).

I skipped the afternoon drink for the RD and it looked thirsty this morning.

Was thinking it might save time from grinding and some storage space as well, having 'working stashes', however after reading, I think it's best to just buy a couple different grinders and using the grinders to hold whats in queue at the moment.

Pretty much everyone on forums in the interwebs thinks pre-grinding is going to dry out the bud past a few days, even if kept on bovida because of the increased surface area.
We pre grind some. These cans hold about 7 grams each and I grind one or two a week. Ms. otter has difficulty grinding/health issues so we both get to benefit. These have an o-ring seal and stay fresh as long as we need. BTW looking sweet here!

Are those just standard retailer spice rack jars or something ultra special? (you replied while I was typing.)Do you experience any drying or degradation while stored say a week or three like that?

No degradation for weeks. The o-ring works well. They're 6$ each. Pretty steep $ but these look drilled from solid stock and threads aren't ripped on. Aluminum. They're going to last lifetimes.

That is a great idea. I will keep an eye out for something of the sort next time I get into a big box store. That is the perfect solution!

your buds are swelling up nicely arent they good job buddy nice grow:welldone:

Appreciate the comment. Bud density on the GC is good, and there are 3-4 wks left, however I feel like this plant is slightly underweight in the bud dept. IDK how much swelling to expect, but I ainym trying to keep her hydrated. As she stands I probably will not revisit growing this unless the bud is primo.

To revisit an earlier comment on keeping ground bud stored. I went cheap a few years back on some smoking equipment. I bought a tiny small grinder that functions as intended, but if your grinding more than a gram, it's a major PITA.

A couple days ago I went and looked at expensive grinders. Santa Cruz, Phoenician and the like. I ended up buying a medium Phoenician. It's not threaded, and requires 1/4 turn to open any of it's chambers. It has a laser cut kief screen that is supported and flat (it also is large enough for a nickel to float around the hex fastner holding it in place. It has a lot lighter, fluffier grind, less clumping and easy on the hands. Grinding an 1/8 takes a few turns vs 8 minutes of fumbling. The kief chamber is cut as a bowl and does not have 90 degree angles. Very smart design, easy to clean, and excellent tolerances. My previous grinder attached by machine threading....that 1/4 turn makes all the difference in the world.

With the Pax, a huge difference. My loads seem to heat up quicker and last a set amount of time, with the previous grinder I did have to pay a lot closer attention to loading the vape.

Interesting what a small manual device that is well thought out gives such ease and pleasure in use. If your looking for a new grinder, I would take a look at these.

Well atleast if thats the case if you got any enjoyment out of growing the strain itll be atleast worth your wild in will be something to smoke or make edibles they all look good to me buddy your doing awesome :goodjob:

I walked outside this morning, in the grass next to the driveway was a quarter. 1961. It had been out in the weather a bit but was laying about 2" from the driveway on the top of the grass. I have not done dirt work in years. I know it's not from inside the house. I go through my change for silver daily. It goes in piggy bank. Really odd. I feel like a wigged out dog that just saw something it should not have.

Picked up the light, got it rigged up and on. Initial observations are about 2-3" better penetration vs the cit cobs next to them. Light is slightly canted to center. Funny to see one of Dan's old frames next to the new one. As cool as the two tone rainbow tent photos were....Oh, the tent temp dropped 2 degrees once I moved the kind out of there.

I supercropped 3 more locations on the RD. They went pretty easy. Trying to keep the canopy even, shit open, and not cause a weightshift/branch tear.

RD-1.25/6.5/?-2.5ml botanicare bloom + all the other shit.
GC-1l/6.5/?-sweet + 4ml big bloom and seaplex.

Pass on veg.

In the lower left and upper left are the RD clones. Seedlings are PTW. Big gal is the WWc, Nagual is the mid size on the right, BBa on the left side.

I tried some more of the WW about 30 ago, the cure will help it (not the band), it's getting better but will need a longer cure. Decent awake buzz but not racy....good with coffee. Off to teacher conferences....yay. Tamales for dinner....getting colder out!

Let me know if something comes up. These things are a bit high. I envision a spice rack of sorts free standing. Hmmm goodwill here i come.

spice rack full o weed varities in the pantry would be fun for guests!
