Nobody's COB Perpetual: Various Strains & Some Edible Fun At Times In A Tiny Tent

One Way to Warm Up A Beer: Use a Hot Poker

They even mention my brewery. See, I'm not full of it.

It is a safe link to a beer magazine. We never did "flip". We just poke normal dark beer. Bock is probably my favorite to get poked.

around turkey day.

Today I am cooking, photos later:

1) I took 30g of trim decarbed at 240 for 70m and added it to the 320ml of remaining oil, and let it steep at about 165 for 8 hrs yesterday.

2) Decarbed 120g of trim (afterdecarb weight 32g) and it's steeping in 475ml of coconut oil.

I think the trim I used off the AK was pretty weak in the first batch.

3) Making gummies with 1/3 c of #1 above.

Fed following:

275ppm/6.5/1l - Big bloom mostly to veg plants
350ppm/6.6/1l - Sweet and a touch of botanicare bloom to the GC. I wish I could rotate this plant, cause there are a couple buds in less than favorable positions. I risk damage and putting more buds in a worse place....so nah.
750ppm/6.6/1l - Botanicare Bloom, mammothp, sweet, tea to the RD.

Going to put the RD clone 6 in #2 smart. Have to let potting soil come to house temp first. Need to get a few more saucers ordered.

Photos later. Polyphonic Spree on.

Welp here are photos of the damage today.

120g trim in, 70 m temp range 220-237f.

Decarbed, going in coconut oil. (cooking at least till 11 or so tonight, then let it funnel through filter back in bottle overnight).

Yesterday, I put another 40g pre carb into the oven for a carb and cooked it in the remaining oil for 8 hrs or so. I used 1/3c oil in this recipe. Made different sizes of gummys.

25x sugar and asorbic acid

Oil still on, but quite a bit darker.

Also got the clone in soil, did not forget the mykos.

Someone had a productive day! Lol
Yeah, in fits and spurts. Cold bitch tonight and I am sure Master is even colder!

I just took the oil off and have it dripping through coffee filters. It's an overnight process. I might make a different color batch tomorrow with the new oil so I can see if it's got any more gusto. It should. Very dark.

I think this batch today was decent. I took two around 1045, not drooling on myself, but can feel their effect.

Veg - Pass, though will mist the clone transplant.
Flower - 2L/350ppm/6.6 - Buddha Bloom, Sweet, Tea, MammothP. RD is getting 1l/600ppm/6.5 later tonight.

Pulled some lower yellows off the tent plants, removed two lowest nodes that were drooping and not getting light on the RD and sending 18-24 inch shoot around the largest radius of the plant, it can send that effort elsewhere. I don't want to really wait later to remove branches, so just got that out of the way.

RH is now 40 yay.

Whipping up another batch of the gummies with the coconut oil, this was the oil that had 120g of the trim/larf that decarbed down to about 31g. Going to try orange.

I find it’s easier to store. I chill it in 1/2 cup portions, pop them out of the mold and vacuum pack them and they can stack in the fridge or freezer. 1/2 cup is what I use for a batch of brownies or gummies, so it’s all premeasured for me, just pull out of the plastic and get to work.

RD - 2L/400ppm/6.6 - Botanicare Bloom, maybe 4 drips of Tiger Bloom (touch faster N), tea, seaplex, sweet.
GC - 1L/250ppm/6.5 - Molasses, Sweet, Seaplex, Tea.
Veg - 1.5L/300ppm/6.5 - Big Bloom with some Buddha Grow.

My BBa is approaching a month and no pistols, sure looks healthy.

I pulled the GC out of the tent to get to some leaves that needed pulling easier. Buds are pretty dense, I don't want to fold these out like I did on the AK or colorado cookies. These are dense and tight, feels like moving them they would snap. I still have 2 weeks on this plant easily...but I am ready for it to get finished.

Here is a shot of the RD solo in the tent. I snipped some lower center shoots off, their doing nothing. I could totally braid this plant at this stage, but I will play with the clones and just let this one fill up a nice 2L container of bud. Everything I have read on this plant says to give N for first 3-4 of flower. I see some tip burn, but it's tiny at best and the plant would prob show that from the soil alone.

I checked on the gummies from yesterday, they were sticking, so I single layered them in parchment and gave them another sprinkle of asorbic acid. My wife approved of the orange ones, she took one and was out 75m later.

I am thinking of ordering another Chibi in 4K. The one that I have is more than enough, but would like a little more coverage. I might pull out the kind led and run it in veg next to the chibi, it's easier to tolerate peeking through the closet at night, but I am not sure how much that red light helps veg plants, and at 175w, it's not near as efficient as a chibi. I might set it up and put the BBa under it outside of tent.

Today going to pass on the veg plants. I pulled out the Kind300 to put at 18" above the veg group, still running the chibi all out except I kick it back for the last couple hours to cut on the glare. Between those two lights, it should be enough to run a small orderly auto in the veg area....I guess we can try over the next 30 days or so, because I doubt I will get the BBa in the tent until the RD is out. I feel like I am starting to see pistols on the BBa. Also topping the MMG Nagual today or tomorrow, I might give it a second top after the first one...it has some serious node spacing so it will not hurt. Think this one will veg for another 50 days or so at least-should be easy to pull a clone from.

RD is looking very shrubbery. Pulled a few more (8) shoots off the inners. Doing a few each day, no more supercropping, or removing entire nodes.

Over in flower I mixed up 2L/350ppm/6.6 - botanicare Bloom 1ml, Sweet, Seaplex, Tea, mammoth p. Each plant got a half. The GC is leaning pretty good after pulling it from the tent, I tucked some of the outside branches inside of the inner branches...basically for size and to keep it together and not leaning.

Off to do some work today, making rounds this evening. Chili tonight if I get back in time (my beef). Questions of the day, is eating Menudo the same as eating beef? It's nutritionally/form very different than beef, but it's still from the cow. Lower iron. I say no. Non-meat eaters say yes.

The band? Is that's what's on the turntable at the moment?
No, I actually had The Band playing earlier though. har.

Menudo is a delicious stew that appears on fall menus around here. You know that living in LA.

Menudo is still “meat”, even if it is a stomach. Lol.

Reminds me of a scene from My Big Fat Greek Wedding: “He doesn’t eat meat? That’s okay, I’ll make lamb!”

Lamb is always nice.
