@Azimuth Genius! I’m going to need to test out, you know like electrical sockets, extension cables, HVAC and Co2 systems blah for the veg tent for the next grow.

I could put the SIP under banging lights with Co2 for a couple of weeks. Potentially finish her in there.

Would that meet with the approval of the SIP Familia ?

As long as you take care of her, do whatever you like. It just pains to see her languish when she has so much more potential, especially under the tropical sun.

That said, we do our share of experimenting with SIPs, so I get where you're coming from.
 
Lolz the light above the runt hasn’t powered back on when we switched back to the grid - electrician inbound as long as he can fix it no drama - they still getting 1460W reflected at them. Its bust and need a new controller that’s a 3 day problem 😅 not a total pain. Move a 480W in for that shorter section and keep it closer meh.

But on the upside my Schneider Electric Blue Buttons arrived.

Tomorrow is Hackaday so buying proper metal control boxes x2 to mount them in. One downstairs and next to the nute tank to activate the pump when we want to flush to change thr mix. One upstairs to water the plants. New system so we can water to runoff no clean up.

Did I mention the buttons are blue? Like water?

I really have too much time on my hands

Sparky fixed the light on short notice. Superstar.

Back tomorrow to do the main line repair. Tipped him 40% off asking. His words of wisdom to me,

“Kuhn Nick you buy very nice buttons and say you need to choose the control so it looks correct. This I understand. Because the same colour of the screws on the new pots downstairs, yes?”

Our stuff is similar to an SA home. We have a borehole that goes into a couple of tanks, one underground that then feeds one on the roof. We have two stories.

We fill the nute tank on the ground floor on a separate system that feeds the plants upstairs.

We don’t have a hot water tank or “geyser” as called in your neck of the woods - they’re just on demand electrical hot water heaters in the bathrooms. For cooking we have a couple of electrical induction stoves on the kitchen island and a quad burner gas hob that’s fed from a bottle they come and replace for $10 once every six weeks.

That jenny will power the whole house even I turn on all the AC and grow lights the guy reckons. Proper job. And he found my leakage so super happy!

Tintin is a thing dude. I had a street artist make me a “Tropical Tintin” for the gate. You could fit 2 F150’s and a Ranger in there.

Were it not full of tents and lights

😅

Date night but when we get home will take a flash photo of the three sections for better colour balance.

No doubt, but you don't see driveway gates much in LA and certainly not on a street that looks like yours. ;)
 
Oh right - I more often call it a carport than a garage?

Because its part open to the elements, up top above the gate and from the pool on the other side. That what you mean?

The gate is great because there is a lot of poverty round here and simple deterrent. But really not stressed about crime. It just looks neater.

Ok photos. Lights out with flash from two year old top end iPhone. With a dodgy camera 🤣

Colours look more correct than with the lights on. But wow soe look tragic a droopy (the lights are off 😅 They are perky as with the lights on.

Super happy with them.

The “Mostly OG Kush and Skunk 11”
They were the super light ones. You can see still light but darkening up nicely.

I find it really interesting looking at those photos - having not taken lights out photos for a couple of weeks - the lighter coloured ones I’ve been nursing are still pointy uppy and healthy looking.

The dark minty greens that are more classically coloured from a health perspective are droopy as fk
There’s probably knowledge there - you could play that Ph scare to advantage.

Ok not done the sample irrigation thing but otherwise on track.

@Azimuth I am all over that Business Class upgrade for the SIP first thing in the morning 🤣

Yeah I know how it is - you know with your own eyes the photos under lights are too light green.

But to show fairly online its gor to be a flash photo. Even then closest to the flash are still a little lighter than the eye.

I’m honestly happy and relaxed about their colour. Looks great. Nice range of good to great across the crop. Lucky we are.
