Put a splash of it out of a 5L bag. It arrives not damp but a little moist. Maybe just humidity.
Its really fine. Coco Coir is really lumpy and rougher - you ever see those wood chips around kids playgrounds? Soft to fall on’ish and organic? Coir is like that here. The coco peat has a bit more of the wetter white fruit bit of the coconut it in it. Very silky to the touch.
The supplier seems to have added a sticker and some branding! Suspect business is good. I pay probably 8x what coco coir costs from the nursery 10” yards away for coco coir. But they promise its cooked and clean snd delivery is within 2 days. I have 600 litres total on-hand now

Yeah edited in a bit more about it in that last post. We basically layer like Bill Method but slightly diff mix - we add in extra perliteIt looks perfectly ground.
It has some perlite too.

First two are blue lights. Sparky a bit annoyed. Turns out the illuminated ones only ones that work with out prwssing and holding but now he can’t make the lights work and I had to show him how to rig a frame to hold the solenoid/actuator which annoyed him. He’s also mad keen for the cold bottle of suds and big blunt that awaits him illuminating my buttons

And dude! Its all just fun. I may have had a smile on my face when there was talk of bar raising! There is no slumming it, it is all equally rewarding - something inherent in it, that humans just enjoy growing stuff. Doesn’t matter too much more than that. That I can nerd out as a techy with blue lights, no joke. I enjoy thatNow I'm not sure.
