Started sanding the Nug Solo lLght today. Its quite hard work! Bottom bit started.

Once its set then you need to work down a few grades of sandpaper (rough smooth obvs) cleaning between. Then you buff then you polish. Something like that process.
I’ve never done it before, I just watched loads of YouTube videos during covid lockdowns and always wanted to do it! First time outI actually did, uh second, day before was done on the launch pad!
The split/stretch we got was not intended! But & Co saw it (she was spending hours trimming with it in her eyeline)
Just grabbed it and started trimming it to reveal that stretch look - like its trying to explode.
After the polisg stage in theory its perfectly clear but I dunno. I worry the plant matter disolved a bit and tinted it green? It’ll still be cool - I mean its not the worst tint for the little side light I want to make, eh?

So been experimenting with videos obviously. I think top viewed episode so far is 5 views but haven’t looked really. That’s not the point. I’m trying to share stuff we’ve learned. The videos are all unlisted on YT, you can’t search for them and apaet from here at 420 I only message links to my friends. Hi Mum! Any advert you see? But this one I actually rhink is the first time I did something useful for the wider community. Its a bit less us specific.
This is where ai want to be - you aren’t going to see me in a boxing ring with one of those Paul brothers or reviewing stuff. I mean I wouldn’t rule out & Co getting in the ring with one or both and knocking them the… out!
But worrying about the difference between cour and peat took ages and people think its rhe same. Its not. Reckon it changes your nute and irriagtion approaches though - I wouldn’t use coir in a SIP fo sho thinking about it. Too siry. Peat no worries.
Also - they come the same colour - the coir is just sun bleached. From Greenhouse. But tbh after 9 weeks the peat doesn’t darken as much.
Anyway for like just people who read it here the Coi/Peat thing!

I don’t get this. Please someone jump in!
The gumidity jumps to 98% on the Dehumidifier Wall Screen, the Mars Hydro screen Rh is 96% (top right corner small /and the temp is 22c
The temp feels right. Is colder than my bedroom even in the “Outer Chamber” i actually turned the AC down.
The Rh though? I can’t be. Its onky 80% anywhere here now. I’m used to 98% in Day Job place!just feel right on the skin to me.
So many sensors.
Dueing lights on its 25c and 55% on the wall mounts btw. That’s importsnt snd the graphs are at 1 Week Scale.

$1500USD electric bill yesterday. I’m hoping they missed off last months payment because there’s nothing but savings our side ( & Co reckons its avtually $750 and $745 this month - hope so - its not the full $1500!!

Boring in the flower tent.
Nada to see.
So got my wife, & Co to join me on a video. She was a bit nervous cancelled yesterday. She’s tired. Finished trim last night.
She wants to do videos like this for the Thai / tik clock type market. Yeah I coach a bit - but she was nervous and my advice was normal voice don’t change your voice.
She was having to translate my voice on the fly because to each other we speak way more similarly to each other than in the video.
That's no good for anyone not versed in Thailish! Bless I’m not sure I’ve heard her less self assured!
After a long losing streak of 3-4 days I got back a point in our grand competition today! Yay!
Hope more than anything, our affection stands out.
There’s some ABC’s in there because her market is far less sophisticated than here on the forum so she's trying some stuff out. Easy as 1-2-3-4 Its more rehearsal for her own ones. Bit I didn’t prep her the stuff about coco and other stuff. That’s her. She knows plenty about plants.

Haha. The pictures are beautiful. I miss European summers. Been so long.
TRNH took some potting soil, added 1ml/l CalMag to some water from mains supply, Ph’d it down with a touch of his drinking water to 7.0 then moistened the soil with it and and put our 4 seeds all with decent tap roots (he says) in each of four pots in the tray. All 4/4 popped. Tomorrow he’s putting some fruit/veg for the greenhouse in the tray as well.
We are next stage.
I hate this stage. I believe I have documented it previously

My wife is Phillipino. She was born here in the state but my mother inlaw when we visit she has broken English, but know if I piss her off because of the direct eye contact..lol.. great food and folks
My father in-law died in 2004 from cancer. He served in Vietnam for 6 yrs or more can't remember.

As I said practice for her own Thai language ones. The only thing she was prepped for!
Anyway sadly all the links to all but two of the movies had to be removed today.
When you upload them to YouTube the optical recognition stuff spots I assume the shape of the leaves. There’s been no swearing/profanity in them and I’m 99% ai’ve never even used the word “cannabis” in them or smoked or anything so sure its just the leaf shape.
You get an insta email from YouTube advising you its been age restricted. But its not a “Strike” as they call it. I mean i’m Ok with it from YT - hope its the same (and sure it is) for alcohol/guns whatever. Age restricted at point of use fair enough.
From our hosts side I am making an educated guess it just messes with their hits and therefore exposure for their sponsors that advertise and pay the bills. Which is fine. I get it / everyone has to pay the bills. Its not a charity here!
Bit of a downer but I had asked in thread but questions - you need the right question and the right person. Poor Joe B. I asked the right question but probably not the right person. He seemed, I don't know he seemed a bit cautious in his response so II followed up with Teddy who said “Sorry but… we had to delete them all”.
So that’s why they have gone.
I can put them on Vimeo but need to decide if I want to pay $20 a month for an account that I can do it from I think. Even the lowest paid tier I think wouldn’t cover the ones made so far. So its the next one at $20
I’m not sure I’m up for that. I hsve so many subscriptions for software, tv services, 5 satellite TV boxes! Myriad other things - ironically I was using Adobe Premier Rush the free video editor from Adobe rather than the full Adobe Premier Pro I actually pay for a license for!
So I’m not sure the $20 is worth it it. I didn’t want advertising and stuff to monetise them or whatever so it just becomes cost. So yeah unless there are no plants in it no more videos for now.

Honestly - just wow. I can’t believe we got here. Me & Co. What incredible fun as a family.
We chopped 12/21 plants today. We already beat the 18 last grow in yield. We’’ll dry cure over 2.8 kg flower off these 12. 9 more later in the week the bigger ones.

8 Strawberry wet average 1.4kg per plant
4 Indy wet average 1.3kg per plant
We’re quite used to having 10kg of weed in the house for the trim biz. This off 12 plants - we knew after the second plant came out we’d beaten last harvest.
The fun. The joy. Selling any of this? We’ll try but the market is awful. Whatever. The joy. I thought I’d be sad. But just the family pleasure. Ahhh - with the hours I’ve being putting in at work (all good today was OK) this was pretty off the charts funny. Whole house smells of strawberry. Crazy. Never this strong in the room. Gonna try some fast dried in a moment.
Dunno - I’m so tired from day job maybe better just go to bed. Been some few days.
The last photo is what’s left. The bigger ones.
Islands and Indy’s. But the smaller ones ok. A yeah Azi.
We’re running at a conservative full half pound a plant so far dried and cured at the moment I reckon. Its about what we got off 18 plants in the “First Big Grow” journal. 9 more ex the Solos.
Huh some journey.

But & Co and her team have been doing 8kg dried in a week recently so I suspect she’s nonplussed about it all!
By the time the second plant was out we knew it was way more than we even hoped for.
Think that club that was spoken of isn’t an issue.
Smoked some Strawberry last night. Not really any taste. Way too wet even after the dehydrator. Like a warm loved up mild molly type thing. Very nice. Smells amazing.
Getting in the room for the first time is fun!
