so im a new member and new to growing, not new to smoking haha. but I've recently made a closet trashcan grow setup. I've lined the inside in mylar and i have 4 23 watt natural daylight 5000k lights and 2 23 watt cool white i think 2700k(all are cfl of course). Ive got a thermometer in there and fans are on the way which i will install for air flow. The main thing I'm pondering is what can i do to make this set up better or what do i need to do or keep an eye on throughout the growing process. right now I'm trying to sprout and its been two days i can see the taproot on the surface of the soil getting ready to poke through so i moved the lights up some. got water in there for humidity and thats about where I'm at. here are some pics.

That's a nice setup dank. Just the other day I was pondering the thought of a super stealth trash can setup. I like your light setup, be thinking of ways to add more during flowering, she needs all the light on her. but deffinately get some air moving around in there. Are you concerned about smell? Maybe think of trying a DIY carbon filter. And I would try to light proof that door up and try to put it on a hinge somehow. Maybe 2 hinges mounted up top that swing 180 degrees with some drywall screw might do. And as for light proofing, I would try to put some Mylar that overlaps the seams on it. I'm interested to see what happens here though.

I would remove the humidity dome once it has sprouted.
Definitely get some air movement going. You need an intake and exhaust fan.

Also, why you no rotate pictures?
