Hello guys,

I am (trying to grow) 2 plants from bagseed. Hopefully this would be my first grow
Vegetative stage
Indoor / but i take them out for sun light for few hours everyday.
i used biobizz light mix soil with perlite
Few Cfls total 125 watts
Room tempreture is abt 25 C
Water PH abt 6.8 - 6.9

Biobizz root juice
And recently started to use Biobizz grow with half dosage.

I have started 3 weeks ago. Everything was going great and the grow took off really fast until i find a small red dot which resemble nothing ive seen before. After some research I realized that it was some kind of spider mite. Since then I spray the plants with water mixed with alcohol time to time.

Few guys on this forum advised me to drop the PH as well. I used white distilled vinegar.

Currently im just waiting things to get better. As soon as i get my hands on some neem oil, I will start to use that as well.

These first 3 pictures are from 3 days ago.

I just took the below pictures. Things dont seem going well. I dont know I m just pissed to myself that I didnt keep the plants in a 100% clean environment at the beginning. Right now they are under quarantine. If you guys have any comments, suggestions Im really open to anything and would really appreciate. Thank you

I use the Biobizz range in the light mix soil and you need to be careful with the biogrow, it's pretty strong stuff.

The root juice has a bit of nitrogen in it so if you use it with the grow it might be too much for the little plants.

I always gave the root juice with 1/4 dosage and gave the grow for the first time yesterday. Should i stop feeding them with anything then ??

I wouldn't stop feeding them totally but personally I would just give them a full dose (4ml/litre) of the root juice for a couple of waterings.
I stop the root juice when I start giving them grow.
The grow is pretty strong stuff and I'm starting to keep dosages lower than the Biobizz chart says.
Do you have any of the other Biobizz range?
I'm finding the algamic really good on my current grow, it's like a little pick me up tonic ;)

Yes i have the bloom, and just ordered the algamic due to stunted grow. Ive read that algamic has lots of good supplements for plants to overcome the stress.

You had an amazing grow man !! Mines were doing so well too. It is so sad to see them like this, i hope they will get better.

They will, my first grow had its issues and still came through as a win.
Your plants look a little unhappy right now but they will bounce back.
The main things I've learned are watering only when they are dry as hell, get pH right and don't overfeed,
Also the way the organic Biobizz products work if you are adjusting pH it needs to be an organic pH adjuster.
That algamic is working great on my current grow it's like a little sorry present if I possibly them off.
You should start a journal, that way if you run into any issues we can call the guru's in to help.

hello i was just checking the plants and i managed to take these photos.. are they spider mites ? or is it normal for them to have these white dots ? :(

Does look a bit like spider mite damage.
Have you checked the undersides of the leaves?
I've never had them but have been told they are hard to spot.

i put a white paper underneath of every leaf and shook the leaves, nothing black, or something that i could see felt on it.. i dont know, i dont know :eye-roll:

Hmm, it certainly looks like spider mites but if they are there you should be able to see them somewhere.
I suppose it's possible it could be bleaching spots from mist on the leaves.
All you can really do for now is keep a close eye on them and when your neem oil arrives give them a spray.

I know the feeling, it's hard not to obsess over them, if it is spider mites they won't die instantly, the neem oil should sort them out when you get it:thumb:

So i just wanted to update, i got rid of the spidermites with neem oil.. one of the plants died but the other has started to recover.. i planted a new one 3 weeks ago as well for insurance. She is doing well, i think the lights are little bit close since her leaves are curled little bit, ill fix that today.. btw they are both females

Hello both plants have been growing well. I thought that they showed sex but it was a wrong and early call :)

recently switch to 12 / 12 , today one of them showed sex.. i will be feeding them with bloom nutes for the first time..

I just have a question, one of them is barely fitting to the closet.. i can pull the lights little bit more upwards. I was wondering if i should top the plant or let her be until i struggle with the space?? Thank you

They are looking better :thumb:
I would leave the lights real close, if you move them higher it will encourage the plant to stretch towards the light.
I would also advise against topping now you have switched to 12-12. If you are worried about space you could tie down that main stem, gently bend her over from the top.

Thank you so much, i have read that topping cause stress and delay things.. okay so i will not touch anything and slightly bend the main stem when is needed...

Just last question :) how would i know where buds will start to form ?? And also am i gonna let all the buds to grow or to maximize the yield from one bud am i going to have trim some ?? I have no idea how the flowering process will happen, sorry for my ignorance

Yes topping will slow and stress the plant for a few days so needs to be done before 12-12 for flower.

Your buds will grow from the plants tops so the top of each branch.
Don't cut the buds just let them grow.
As you have not topped you will have a main cola through the middle and hopefully some nice buds from the other branches.
Soon you will start to see white pistles shoot out where the buds will form.
If you do bend her over it should help getting light to the lower bbudsite which will help increase your yield.

Okay i got it ! Thank you very much for sticking around and being really helpfull, i really appreciate

Hello, things have been going well, i recently decided to add a 50 watt yellow led light. Since this thing really takes lots of effort and care, i better increase the yield with more light..

Before i thought that they showed sex, but they were just some new leaves.. it has been over 2 weeks but still no sign of gender.. im hoping to see some pistils in coming days..
