New Moon Over Guawi: A High Brix Journey

Ya , that was the weird part...wtf was Gordon doin there anyhow....

I think he rented a room ? at the end of the video he is shown to HIS room ?
Think he may have changed his mind

I was Researching "CANNABIS UV ISSUES" i noticed his face and thought, I wonder
if GORDON is getting into CANNABIS B&Bs :hmmmm:

Was just listing to MARVIN GAYE Pusherman
I changed the lyrics a little

I'm your mama, I'm your daddy
I'm that Brother in the Valley
I'm your doctor, when in need
Want some Cob, have some weed
You know me, I'm your friend
Your main boy, thick and thin
I'm your GROWERMAN

Ain't I clean, bad machine
Super cool, super mean
Feelin' good, for the man
Superfly, here I stand
Secret stash, heavy bread
Baddest bitches, in the bed
I'm your GROWERMAN

I'm diggin it G!.............:passitleft:....one more..:passitleft:. just did that order...was able to make it happen ..thru Luis and R&D. More A5 X Malawi and a few Bubba Hash on the way....very pricey for me.

Oh yeh :high-five: I was not impressed with the BIN price but you gotta Pay to Play and I dont want to miss it :thumb:
Luis is the man;)

:passitleft:

Been reading up on UNDERGROUND GREENHOUSES
Very cool idea, I may have to get the shovels out ;)

Hey G,...what do ya make of it.......cool idea but ,..need to go a lot deeper to make it worthwhile , no?
Also that flimsy plastic roof just wouldn't cut it bud. Would have to be a little more solid ...with perhaps some security too...lottsa extra costs. What about proper drainage, supplemental lighting, heating , electrics, etc..??

Oh for sure a lot more research before I would attempt it ;) I just like the idea of using the natural insulation
and working with Mother Earth/Nature instead of trying to be HER :green_heart:

So far looks promising, that pictured one I believe is using a double sheet top, idea is with the air between
the two layers of sheeting creates a better heat insulation. There are some very ingenious ideas for ventilation
and even deep winter heating if needed. Most are constructed 6 to 8 feet deep

That would be so awesome Gazoo, gotta work cause its been being done for ages.
Yep that double layer of plastic is what the nursery/landscape company I used to work for used. They keep the plastic in place by snapping it into aluminum brackets, and then they blow air in-between the layers for that air insulation. Works great here in the south, but I have no experience in Cali... I bet you could make one work great for you! And what a fun project, great exercise and a fun learning experience!

Edit: But as Duggan says, it is gonna be a lot of work getting it all worked out!

Here in California I suspect Heat will be an Issue during the summer months and a good drainage / ventilation system
would need to be included. Just started reading up on the whole idea but see a lot of potential as you said this has
been going on for a long time so most issues have been found and documented for ME, Just need a good plan from
the start so when finished it can be improved as needed ;)

I doubt I will be doing anything with the idea in the near future but as I learn more it may get pushed up
on the "lets see if I can make this work" to do list

Something I just read that I think is a good clue on weather I am dealing with
Light burn or Nitrogen Def.

" Light burn is often mistaken for a Nitrogen deficiency which makes wilting yellow leaves.
Nitrogen-deficient leaves fall off on their own, while light-burned leaves are hard to pluck off.
A nitrogen deficiency starts from the bottom of the plant and moves up, while light burn often is worse at the top of the plant. "

And something else I just learned GREEN light closes the STOMATA
May not want to BRIX with my GREEN room lights on. ;) sometimes
I forget they are on since its not noticable once the grow lights are on.

"specific color spectrums. For example, some frequencies of blue light stimulate the opening of the stomata.
Green light, on the other hand, causes the stomata to close.
"

Oh Oh

"frequencies of light in the ultraviolet to blue end of the spectrum stimulate the production of the
molecules needed to make purple pigments. When growing plants such as purple basil and red lettuces
in a greenhouse, it is important to source “UV-clear” coatings.

UVA and UVB rays also stimulate the plant to make many secondary metabolites as plant protection agents. Some of these antioxidants and secondary compounds can improve the nutritional value of food or the potency of medicinal compounds
