I do one on flip and one 3 weeks into flower. This was recommended to me by a close friend of mine who is Master Grower for Abba Medix. My only caution would be, feminized seeds dont take as well to stress as regular seeds. I swear by reg seeds, so its fine for me. My suggestion would be try a light defol on flip and see how they react.

Yeh some plants don’t like it. My white widows don’t care at all about being trimmed. The breeder of my Durga Matta told me not to defoliate too much because it really didn’t like it. He did something called a schwaze or something like that. Plant was really mad.
