I've always used paper towels, rockwool can hold too much water and cause damping off which is lethal to seedlings. Only thing with paper towels is if you leave the seed on the paper towel too long it will grow into the paper. I soak for 12-24 hours then place in a paper towel that has most of the water squeezed from it. The paper towel goes into a plastic baggie and I don't close the baggie. I then place the baggie on my cable box to keep it warm. My germination rate is very good using this method. As soon as the seed pops open and I can see the taproot it goes straight to coco in a solo cup. I start mine i a clear solo that I then place in a red solo cup. Once I see roots at the sides of the clear solo it's time to up pot to a proper pot. I use fabric pots but you can clean the coco from the roots and place in a hydro set up if you choose hydro.

Thank you so much for the help with germination pennywise, I am going to use cococoir for my grow I will be using 1lb geopot Velcro starter and transfer to I was going to ask do plants grow to the size of the pots they are in? I was going to use 5lb geopot too grow them in till harvest but if 10lb pots would give me a bigger plants then I will use them.
 
I am planning on using cococoir for my grow and Canna coir nutes, hydrogourd, cal-mag and the Canna coir boost, pk, cannazym, rihizotonic. Any thoughts on these good bad anything you can think of that will help me to grow big beautiful Bud's I would greatly appreciate.
 
I think cannazyme and hydroguard do pretty much the same thing so you could save a little Money there. Everything else sounds good, remember to check ph with daily watering. Controlling your environment is #1. If temps and rh are off then nothing else you do will give you big healthy plants.

I did it accidentally on my girls. Dunno about thc production (all was frosty as hell though) they definitely hulked out though.
 
As far as seed germination goes all I’ve ever done is moisten paper towels and wring them out. Put a couple layers on a plate, put the seeds on the paper towels, put another 2 layers of paper towels on there and cover with another plate upside down so that the rims of the plates rest in each other. I slide the plates under my dresser. Moisten the paper towels as needed. I haven’t germinated near as many seeds as others on here but I am 16/16 getting to pop using this method. Will probably continue it until it starts to not work some. Lol
 
Thanks Mr Magoo. I have never germinated seeds before so I am looking forward to seeing how I do, I don't have a dresser to slide under LoL.

Top of the morning to you mr.P I also you the method as described above, but I moisten the paper towels with a spray bottle with H202 as I know some guys n gals soak the seeds in water with h202 then paper towel or straight into medium of choice... So far I'm happy but you have to find what works for you but any method the guys n gals offer is great, just personal choice....

I started my grow with a blend of fox farm soil, coconut coir, per elite. My blend is 60/40. Using 7 gallon cloth geo pots. The biggest help I got here was don’t over water.
