ROYAL MEDIC (Feminized) Day 9

I transplanted her this evening.

The soil consist of a mix of:
1 part MOMMA'S SPECIAL TOMATO SOIL
1 part SCIENTIFIC SOILS
1 part FOX FARM HAPPY FROG
4 tablespoons of GROWOLOGY 1
GROUND EGGSHELLS
CRUSHED DEAD CANNABIS LEAVES
(which I had mixed in with MOMMA'S SPECIAL TOMATO SOIL over a month ago)

First I buried the cup in the soil to make the perfect hole.

Then I placed the damp cup soil
(the dampness is to keep it from crumbling) into the new pot.

Also TRAR will happen this Sunday. Don't disappoint me like you guys did 2 weeks ago.

I've been reading more and more about ff happy frog.. I stocked up with four bags of ff ocean forest a while back thinking it was the shit from stuff I had heard. Little did I know that it is pretty hot for plants, especially young'ns. Wish i would have bought half ocean forest half happy frog. Constantly gaining new knowledge. Speaking of, Soil in bags doesn't really go bad though does it?

Not that I know of.

ROYAL MEDIC has just been named NURSE BETTY.

Thanxx Fatty and welcome aboard. If you're in the same boat I sailed in on you've definitely landed on Plymouth Rock. 420 is such an extraordinary site with even better members and you'll find we keep a family type atmosphere here. I'm thrilled you've enjoyed my journals but there's over 100 more just as informative as mines by other members. Each one has it's own dynamics shadowing under the personality of it's host. We have the no-nonsense-strictly grow business journals, the lightly humorous journals, the all out full fledged comedic journals, and the laid back peace & love hippie type journals, which all have there own way of weaving their journey through it's grow.

You're right in the fact that I try to make my journals easy to follow so others can learn from my accomplishments & more importantly, my mistakes and failures.

You'll be up in running before you know it if you stick around with the help of all of us here as I did from the likes of COKE420, SPIMP, & RICORICO just to name a few.

Morning Bill & Cronic.

Thanks for the kind welcome Mr. Broke Ass. I just like saying Broke Ass btw. :)

Hey Closet, can you take your 'hot' ff soil and mix into it equal parts of something like coco or peat; would that not lower the amount of nutes in total thereby making it not hot or what?

I suppose so yeah, I think what I'm going to do is buy a couple bags of happy frog and some perlite, and mix equal parts happy frog and ocean forest, and then throw some perlite and mychorrizae in there.

How are you Reg!:circle-of-love:
I'm doing fine Pinky, & yourself?

You might want to get some Vermiculite instead of Perlite as Happy Frog already has Perlite mixed in their soil.

Happy Thurweed day BAR :thumb:
Back atchas Cronic, though it's Friday morning now for me & you know how I do on Fridays. :lot-o-toke::cough:

Also, I would like to know if anyone can recommend a good no frills soil. I want something basic & simple, not with the pre-added ingredients. I guess the best way to describe what I'm looking for is dirt cheap dirt. I'd like it as basic as coco but much cheaper. I know there has to be a company out there selling good dirt.

Reggie, you want this soil for what use? Peat moss in bales is cheaper than coir by far. You can buy a compacted bale of 3.4 cubic feet for under ten or around ten at Home Depot or Lowes or Kmart etc. It is inert and has a very low pH.

Are you wanting to grow cannabis in this soil?

I would say to even rent a car and take a ride out on Long Island to a garden center and see what they all have out there for you. Nice day trip, but do NOT drive back into the city any time on a Sunday! Hampton Jitney :)

Good morning BAR. Girls are looking good. Nurse Betty. Heck now I will have to figure out what to call mine. :cheesygrinsmiley: Happy Freeweed Day
