1) Auto flower cannabis plants have the same nutritional demands as photoperiod plants and require nutrients for vegetative growth and for flowering. An auto flower cannabis plant will flower regardless of the lighting schedule which it is under. I would recommend a 18/6 18 hours of light and 6 hours of darkness lighting schedule.

Sure it is. Provided the genetic malformation is passed onto the seeds. Isn't that how you start new strains and variants? By picking and choosing your favorite parts? Should work for genetic malformations also.
