Yes I agree with gd the only way to use co2 to its full potential is having a sealed room and only exchanging the air once every hour or so . I have everything I needed to go big with co2 I just can't set the ac up properly I only want it running when the lights are on and off when the lights are off but I can not program the ac and if I try to run it with a timer once it switches off it will not switch back on . I would have to physical turn it on every day . Which I can't . Bar I bet them pots didn't cost you much not even £4.50 . :rofl:and I'm loving the garden:):)

Great info re: CO2. LMAO @ Dirty Dreamz. BTW BAR, that was one kewl balancing act with the super clone cutting :) I love the haircut you gave her and can't wait to see what she does. You know, come to think of it, I spend so much time in my gro room since I'm always chasing down a solution to my most recent botching that my huffing and puffing is probably elevating the CO2 concentrations in the air - if only for a second before it's wisked around and replaced with new air. Happy Fribud everyone, peace BAR!
 
I can't disagree. I used a charged system & frankly, the co2 ppm levels never got above 700 to 800. Worse, as mentioned, if you're recirculating air in a room or tent, use something real cheap with lights on.
Green pads are pads that activate by humidity. You just hang them.
The grow I joked about the bracelet, you'll see them hanging in the tent.

We just finished re-arranging the Bloom Tent to get better light penetration & somewhat even the canopy.

What we noticed was that the flimsy stretch the comes with using these Soda Pop Pots leaves only the main cola producing anything worth wild. The majority of the lower branches look like they'll just become popcorn buds.

So we got busy doing some training on 3 out of the 10 plants inside the Veg Tent to create some bushes. Babygirl did 2 & I did 1; Super-Cropping and Topping.

It's been suggested to me before but since I grow for self indulgence only, the popcorn buds are just that much more to smoke. They say that if you do that though all the energy goes to pumping up those main cola buds. Come to think of it we now have enough greenery to give it a whirl. Thanxx for reminding me Mr. Dirty Dreamz...

Hi BAR. Dirty Dreamz lmao again - you may never live that one down Green :) Just wanted to add that I stripped my lower stems and nodes this gro for the first time after reading about it here. I believe the technique is referred to as 'lollipopping' but I may not be correct on that. I'm growing an auto strain and wasn't sure what to expect but the results I think are good. All of the new growth and energy went straight up the middle and made one massive cola with the upper most side budlets turning in to bigger denser second level buds. I remember reading about this years ago in old HT issues and was always skeptical since there were still mixed philosophies and I was terrified I would reduce my yields. I'm not sure if it resulted in any change in yield in this gro but it does appear to have greatly improved the quality and density of the bud in the upper profile. So maybe the end result may be fewer bigger denser buds vs. more smaller popcornish stuff.

I sorta kinda in a round about way lollipop'd my B2B and I just finished chopping her and the size of her top buds were massive and total wet buds was 416 grams and 119 popcorn and trim so I have no idea if it was because of cutting the lower branches or just the genetics but I will most certainly try it again to see if I can get the same results. As you well know that is dang sure my best harvest from 1 girl....:yahoo:.....:circle-of-love:

We just did our first lollypop under the guidance of Dusty. I was advised to remove all of Area 2. I also had to brace it with a wire hanger since it got top heavy.
