It seems that i have been stalking you today my friend.....all the journals i have been to today was following your post i think:) too funny....anyway......if i am going to stalk you on the other journals i may as well do it here to......so here i am in the darkest of corners stalking you.......can you feel the hairs on the back of your neck raising? i gotta quit smoking so much:)LOL

Just don't offer him your naked pictures mate, not everyone is as open minded & forgiving as me :)

OK everyone, here's the type of things that happen when you're home alone all day with your girls.

And I decided to put my spare timer to use inside the Veg Tent. Instead of refilling the humidifier twice a day I plugged it into the timer set at 15 minutes on & 30 minutes off for the whole 24hr cycle. If my calculations are right it will only need to be filled once every 32hrs. This means we can fill it once every morning even if it's a sleep in weekend day.

I'm thinking about somewhat of the same idea in the Bloom Tent for Co2. Any cheap ideas out there?

Awesome Mr. BAR! Love the superclone technique. I've only tried cloning a few times and have had about 50% success. Thanks for the pics, that will help a lot.

Nice BAR, say is that cut super clone standing up on its own or is this a magic trick - or both? Good info to consider re enviro controls thx BAR
Standing up on its own

Hey bar, what's shakin'?
I do the same thing with a timer and my humidifier.
I'm no help on co2. I don't see any actual reason to add CO2 to your indoor grow. Just a lot of store owners trying to talk us into it. Fresh air and air exchange are of course actually real important.

I'm listening to others views on that out of curiosity, and I'm open to change my stance if I can get some actual science to back up the CO2 additions in a small, unsealed home grow. I don't know that much, but I think the CO2 is a waste of time and resources.

Reg, for co2, check out Green Pads.
Can you elaborate on that Cajun?

Organics, here's a post I blogged from Smoker Joe. Until reading this and asking around via PM I didn't really consider Co2 a major factor in indoor growing.

Yeah, lol, I just stopped by to say Hi, and that your timer humidifier combo is smart.

Then I had to comment on CO2, lol.
Well I guess that's just me, and the linked post hasn't changed anything for me, although I appreciated you sharing it.
Where's the science? :)

Thats a great point and issue COorganics. Air exchange and flow is absolutely key to indoor anything and adding anything is a trade off to how much your going to lose vs benefit. Same concept would be heat in your house for example and the efficiency ratio that results in an acceptable cost benefit ratio. I have not delved in to significant research nor do I have any experience w/ CO2 inputs to a grow (other than playing with the dry ice method in my first gro in 1989 using a Phototron *throwback moment*). Maybe the cost of CO2 inputs and resources to implement them are significant enough for the average grower to utilize, but I don't know the answer to that. My two cents is that for most applications, CO2 inputs might be more for that extra 'whatever' but isn't necessarily the average grower should be concerned with. I'm a newcomer here, but from all of the journals and information I've observed so far CO2 inputs have been the exception and not the norm. Would be good to have some definitives on it though.

And BAR, I just pontificated on your page oops...

:adore:

...please don't Super Clone me!

Don't even think twice about it Colorful. As long as you keep it clean & don't dis-respect any other member my journals are open threads to all opinions & ideas. Feel free to speak your mind.
We don't argue here, we discuss...

Good Morning Reg,

Had another little set back over here. Will PM the details.

Our little 12 plant grow is nearing harvest. I'll be updating with pics very soon.

Congrats on your cloning successes of late, I need to do a catch up again !

Happy Friedday Bar.......ok....i am going to input on this Co2 subject........i have a 4 x5 flower room.....had everything in there you could think of so the garden shop guy talked me into Co2.....sounded wonderfull.....i walked out of there like 700 to 800 bucks later......happy as hell....i just made an investment that is going to increase my yield by up to 30 percent....how could i not be happy except the large dent in my account now:)lol......got home.....set everything up.....controller....regulator......tank........now pause for a second....i have a six inch exhaust fan connected to my can filter.....now i told the guy that my temps ranged from75 to 80 during lights on and he said it wouldn't be a problem as the plants liked the hotter temps and could withstand them with Co2........so after set up i set my temp on the co2 controller to 90 degrees......i have a little window in the door to the room so i can sneak a peek:)......well it hit 90 within 5 minutes....now this is with leds......i bumped it up to 95 ....same thing...within minutes it was cutting the exhaust on and sucking out all that co2 that wwas dumped in there.......plants did not like the 95 or 90 degree temps what so ever....not as bad at 90,,,,but not good......85 was about the warmest i could let it get in there.....so about every 5 to 10 minutes the exhaust was sucking out the co2 that had just beeen injected minutes before.......i ran it for the whole flower cycle, but didn't see anymore butd than normal....not that i am an expert......what i figured out is that if you have a relatively small grow area....then injected co2 is a waste of time being heat control becomes an issue.......i did find when i stopped using the tanks....which were 50 bucks a shot to trade for a full one... adn only lasted about a week to week and a half.....i kept the controller hooked up so that i could monitor co2 levels......when i sit in there with the exhaust fan on half speed that my hot air rises the co2 level by a couple hundred ppm......there are cheaper alternatives like cajun suggested, but i dont see co2 giving you enough extra bud to be cost effective unless you are a commercial grower or have a room that you could fit an a/c in......i kept all my equip as if they ever do legalize it here then my grow room will be the whole room adn i will throw an a/c in there and then should be worthwhile....save on co2 and get more bud....but 30 percent is not worth it to keep changing bottles.....wow.....i wrote a book.....sorry:)....but i hope this helps people with small grow spaces from wasting thier money like i did:)lol........

:thankyou: Dirty Dreamz...
