New City Grower 2.0

Good night ladies & gents,
Congrats on the prizes BAR, that butter machine looks so nice would love to try one someday.
I was wondering what had happened to TRAR. Now I know :)
I just posted a pic of the white spots problem I mentioned here the other day, it´s in my journal.

GardenFarie: If you could visit my local Garden Center you would say something like "what the heck is this"? lol Not even a bag of perlite I could buy there, no nuts for our girls at all, plus I got one bag of soil from them that I think it had bugs. Much less expect any advice mj related. So much is different here, but I do love my country cause we have other great things.

Loved the global warming chat you guys made me laugh and think.

Had a nice strart of week...chop and trim kind :)

BAR, I have some pics of the flowering RM. If you like to see them just give me a shout out.

:cheer:

Just fast drive by. Congrads on the MOtM, That budder machine works great. Mine kind of will scare ya when that heavy duty motor kicks in. Solid product. We've been cranking out a lot of budder with ours. Kind of wish it was alittle larger but it's a good function machine. Now what I need is a butter press. It's great to see 420 being able to give a nice machine away. Back when I was precipitating in the contests, I bowed out I've leave that for you youngsters, they didn't give anything away. But I think it's great. And shows 420 is coming up.
Man you been flowering that one plant since before I was born and that was along ways back. She's not a yielder but hopefully she makes a great jar of personal head stash. Keepem Green

Guess you never been to AA/NA. GF was sharing to the circle.

I have been sober since February 5, 1984! I've been to thousands of meetings, actually. :)

What I was questioning was why you said that? If you were just joking about, I am sorry! It totally got lost on my emptyheadedness!

BTW, I had to think long and hard when I started smoking again in October last year. It had been a very long time since I smoked pot. I was tired of the dope that made me sick from the drug store. I am intolerant of most pain medication and totally allergic to anything with a 'phine, codin, codone, nol' etc in it. Ain't that the way. Now that I can literally walk into my doctor and ask for scripts for just about anything and he would write it. That's trust! Then again, I never was a drug seeker in sobriety.

Now you know I've definitely been to meetings. :)

:goodjob: Very nice update BAR. Buds are looking good. :thumb:

Yeah Spimp, DP disappeared just like you did; One day you guys are helping every member you can, the next day it's like "POOF" your gone... Just like a joint :rollit:

Well ill smoke a bowl in his memory shortly. Wish him well and a Spimp like resurrection!
Maybe he also experienced some payment complications.

Im big time envying the two tent setup my friend. Looking great. :cheer:

I've read right here on 420 that tap water in most US cities has a substantial amount of calcium so I did a little research. I found that not only does my water contain calcium but magnesium as well. I'm not quit sure what the numbers below mean but since I use tap is this enough to cover my Cal/mag needs and what about the hardness level?

New York City Tap Water
Magnesium ppm
6.4
Calcium ppm
16
Hardness ppm
67.4

These values, ppm, are parts per million or milligrams per liter of water.

I do not believe that your tap water will sufficiently provide enough calcium and magnesium to your plants. I use Botanicare Cal-Mag Plus at 1 teaspoon or 5 millilitres per gallon. Botanicare states on their website these are the desirable ranges.

Desired range of nutrients are:

Nitrogen (N): 160-250 ppm
Calcium (Ca): 160-280 ppm
Magnesium (Mg): 45-75 ppm
Iron (Fe): 2-7 ppm

Man I wish I had saved the paper the county sent me on the mineral and yuck levels of the water here. You would really appreciate yours. I wouldn't mind paying $50 a month for your water. I would actually use it. I won't even boil an egg in the water out of the faucet here. Average water bill is about 45-50 and I still use 5 gallon bottled water, gallon jugs for my girls, and no haters please but drink bottled water. When I water my other plants it leaves marks on them and forms a white crusty surface on top of the soil. If I had a choice I wouldn't even bath in it but I would not even consider using it on one of my girls.... Who knew... NYC has better water than Xxxxxxxx......:goof:....:circle-of-love:
