The screen should be filled 50-75% before flipping. After flip the plant will stretch and fill the screen
% is dependant on strain chareceristics. Best to grow a strain once and understand it before scroging it

I topped one girl many times and the bud sites are much smaller on the multiple branches, but there are more baby buds. I think it took from the big buds... just a thought.

Topping multiple times is fine sparingly in my opinion. The more you do it the more crowded you become but with smaller buds.
