Neikodog's 1st High Brix Multi-Strain

Thanks everyone for stopping by. I basically had the plants outside for 2 very nice days while I did the room upgrades and installed my ac. They really loved it out there. So the Tikals got a hair cut and transplanted yesterday, the Tangerine today after work got the DR. Ziggy spa treatment. They are all now in 10 gallon smart pots which by the way take about 12, 1 gallon pots full of soil to fill. I watered in with 1 gallon of purified water mixed with 2ml transplant each. Tomorrow is de-stress. The final spot is waiting on a chocolope. They are about 9-10 days behind. I planted 3 figuring 1 or both the Tikals would be male but nooooo, both female (go figure). So now I get the unenviable duty of killing 2 chocolopes. Too bad I don't have anyone to pass them on to.
So high brix vets, what ratio of drench is standard for 10 (or 12) gallons of soil? Is the first flowering drench transplant or growth?
Thanks everyone.
:thanks:

5-6ml is the low end of the dose range and what I would start at as long as your not trying to grow monster plants in small pots. You can always up it a bit at times of rapid of growth like around weeks 3-6 or so if needed :thumb:

Thanks Smokey, I am just trying to grow healthy plants. I flipped straight from 1 gallon to 10 gallon so I wouldn't run out of energy. Which one do I start with? Transplant or Growth? I don't think they will need anything for at least a week, just want to get ready.

You already did 2ml of trans and the roots. If your flipping immediately I would do something like this as a baseline.

Start of week 2 transplant
Start of week 3 energy
Around week 3.5 - 4 CD

Or you could flip week 2 and 3 depending on how they look.

This is just general and its best to let the plants tell you what they need. If they start looking pale all of a sudden they need energy. The full shot of transplant on week 2 is to help get flowering kicked off and I like to give energy shortly before doing CD because my plants start growing like crazy once I CD them. After CD this time I did a nice Trans drench and then followed it up three days later with energy but I am growing in undersized container for that plant so I had to really juice it after CD you might not need all of that. After that I do energy every time with a bit of trans thrown in here and there.

This is just how I have been doing it since my last crop on. Everyone has there own little tweaks. One of these grows I am going to try all energy with a bit of trans thrown in here an there the entire way through except CD week. I am starting to think that would work really well, when I used mostly trans before CD I had some issues but once again I was using kinda small pots for the plants.

Sorry for the ramble, just had a J of the blue dream :passitleft:

You'll have an entire community of HB growers watching at your elbow neiko. Nice, huh?

Yes it is Sue. That's why I did the journal. I'm not usually one to do something like a journal online but the support is awesome and no one degrades your efforts (unless you are growing in LOS) sorry Sue I couldn't resist. You are a trooper by the way.

I'm glad you did your journal....you're good for this place and all the growers here.:high-five:

I have been surprised at the amount of people who frown on LOS or as I call it ROLS (recycling organic live soil). I would never turn my nose up at anyones method of growing as long as their end result is clean. I personally love the diversity of Terpene profiles throughout the plethora of cannabis strains. That's why I vape and grow in living soil that's never tilled. No other growing system no matter how hard you try to compensate, will not give you the amounts of terpenes you get through high microbial life forms in soil specifically. You can't get the levels of colonies that you get in soil in any other growing system. With that said there are other systems that will provide larger yields and yield them faster. All I can say is I'm not in a rush and I don't use this as a form of income. This is my medicine. If I were to go into the recreational field I would carry over my practices because after 20+ years of growing it's lead me to that place. Each to their own and more peace and power to you all !:thumb::volcano-smiley::thumb:

I might add that I grow my own veggies and fruit in the exact same style of growing because it makes the best tasting food also :) In my own personal experience I'm not claiming this as a fact just my perspective :):Namaste:

Update Time! So this is day 7 of flower for the Tikal and Tangerine Dream. Tomorrow they will get their first flowering drench, I'm thinking 8 Ml Transplant, 1 ML Tea split between the 3 plants, any thoughts on that? They are in 10 Gallon Smart Pots. Ok Pics:

Bump up that feeding to about 15 mils.....looking perfect.

They are the pictures of health right now, but they're making new tissue and cells like crazy, and all that comes out of the soil, so right now would be a good time to insure energy stays up.

That's my suggestion!

Looking great, as always, neiko!
If you've got 30 gal. of soil you're feeding, it also seems like the Tea should be more like 2 - 2.5 ml. No?

Good question. The directions say 2.5 ml tea with all drenches, that would be for 6 plants or a full kit. That's how I took it. That's why I listed what I was going to feed so I could get the correction if needed. So I guess I'll bump that up to like 1.25 ml tea.

Mornin Neiko....it's nice to see that T.G. doing so well . I remember seeing alot of bad things written about that strain being so hard to grow and being just a pain in the ass . Way to go with that one bud. Cheers eh.:thumb:

Thanks Duggs. Yeah man I am very pleased with how that is turning out. I wanted to kill them at this point last time. This is definitely the proof the kit dominates in every way for me. The Tikal are going to be something special too.
