The Tikals are really showing the red lines in the stalks where the Tangerine is green, Chocolope is still green as well.

Mornin Neiko....your toddlers are commin along nicely eh. I'm very curious about your Chocolope from DnA correct? I was seriously considering trying this ,so i'l be watching it . With the T.D.....i've heard alot of negative comments about this strain over the last few yrs. It's from Barney's right? People were just having a hard time with it for some reason. Said it was very tempermental and hard to read and grow. I'de like to see Doc's. gear kick it's ass though. gonna be fun to see what ya can do with this tricky strain bud. Have a great day pal....i'l be floating around today....takin it easy before another week of work. Cheers.:high-five:

Yeah Duggs they are starting to come along nicely. It still seems like they are moving slower than everyone else's plants at the same age though. The Chocolope are from DNA Genetics and Tangerine is from Barney's. I've had chocolope once from the dispensary and it was immediately moved to the top of my grow list. The Tangerine Dream I grew last round (non HB) you are right it was a tempermental S.O.B. it hated anything I did to it. I couldn't get the feeding down, it burned no matter how little I fed it. It was just ugly from the get go. I almost culled them. I am glad I didn't, it is VERY good smoke and kinda like blue dream, the chicks love it lol. My wife, my buddies wife and a couple others that tried it just love it, so I had a seed left and when I had all the germination failures and I tried it, it came up, so it now in HB and it absolutely love it. It is my prettiest plant, no red lines in the stalks and it is the shiniest. I just can't get this new camera sorted out to show the actual beauty of this gem. I can't wait to compare it to last round. It is a leggy beast too, that's why I topped it and am starting to train it. So far I am very happy with it.

Hey Neiko...Oh that's good...my memory is still ok...DnA, and Barney's.Thought so. I actually did some of both of there's with Vanilla Kush , Critical Kush (stinks like rotting animals),Holy Grail Kush. Thats how i know about the T.D. feedback. It's pretty cool how it likes the HB soil eh. It 'l prolly turn out to be your fav. or something.:surf:
OH...gotta book....timer's goin off.

Plants that are hard to feed with traditional nuets usually do very well in HB, you might be in for something very special :high-five:

growing like weeds :thumb:

looking mighty fine in there my friend good job

Update time. This new job is really cutting into my 420Mag time. Sorry I haven't been able to keep up like I want to and some of the journals move too fast for me to completely follow (Sweet Sue). Anyway the plants are doing really good. I hope to flip the Tangerine and Tikals by next weekend. They are taking water about every 2 days now, I want to wait until they need it every day for a few days before I flip. I've been LSTing them all except 1 Chocolope. OK here we go:

Mornin Neiko....hey brotha....lookin fine here! Have you considered letting them get a little bigger and up - potting them one more time to really get a nice yield? Or is it a time thing bud? Anyhow ,you know me ...i like em big and bountifull.:thumb: Have a great day ....hope your Lads are doing good as well.... Cheers pal.:high-five:

Morning Duggs, thanks for stopping by. I am going to go straight to 10 gallon smart pots and start flowering. This was Doc's suggestion. I know the Tangerine is a leggy beast and the Tikal is 75% sativa and chocolope like 95% so I am concerned about letting them get to tall, that's why I've been tying them down so much. That ugly betty has about 18 tops buried in all those leaves. I don't want them to run out of energy so that's the thinking about flowering them straight from 1 gallon to 10 gallon. I've already vegged the tangerine longer than I did last time and they got to about 4.5' tall. I think the tallest plant I can handle and still keep 24" from the light is about 6-6.5'.

Good idea!

Fabulous color and sheen to those leaves neiko. The ones you're getting ready to flip, how tall are they at this point? Just curious. I'm looking forward to watching them take off blooming.

Hey neiko, my JH has a lot of tops too that are buried, forgive me for my ignorance, this is my first photo plant, but when do they really stretch? I have been tucking leaves to try and get them exposed. It has been about 12 days since flip.

Morning Nate, my experience is the stretch happens within the 1st 3 weeks of flower. I had a super lemon haze that didn't stretch a whole lot, maybe 10" is all. Then I had the Tangerine that was about 1.5' at flip and stretched 3 more feet. They didn't grow vertical anymore after about 3 -4 weeks.

Morning Sue, thank you they are looking better and better all the time. I have been tying them down since I was able to and the ones that are close to flipping are about 7-9" tall (from the top of the soil) and about 12-14" wide. I don't know the term for them but the tikal 1 (ugly betty) has petioles every 120 degrees instead of 180 degrees so she is just full of leaves. So if that isn't clear, every node has 3 sets of leaves.

That makes sense neiko. The canopy on the Tangerine Dream is almost textbook. Good work there. Let's see how much they stretch after the flip.
