Whew! Glad to see those girls up and dancing! :bravo::party::theband:

How do I subscribe to a journal? Does it happen automatically when I post or do I have to press a button? <---noob alert :lot-o-toke:

Gnats...doesn't a small glass of apple cider vinegar work to attract and trap/kill gnats?

When you post in a thread it subscribes you...but you can also also press on the "Thread Tools" drop down near the top of the page to accomplish the same thing...using this method also allows you to set the parameters as to how you want to be notified about new messages in your subscribed threads...

Greek coffee is like heroin to bugs, i accidently figured it out when i was serving in the army 6 years ago. One night i was doing a night patrol and i had just woken up so naturally i made a cup of coffee to keep me up, at that time i was sent by the air force in an island called Rhodes (one of the most popular here) which was nice but the downside was that it is like a mosquito colony. Half way through the job i was drinking my coffee and noticed something strange in my mouth, i tried to pick it out only to find out it was a mosquito so naturally i was like "why the hell is a mosquito in my coffee", when i hit my cup with the flashlight i was really surprised to find a couple dozen mosquitos in there. Not very long after that it started happening all the time which was really bugging me (no pun intended), everybug that went near that kind of coffee just drowned itself inside the sweet sorrow.

Greek coffee isnt easy to find unless you live in .. well, Greece, where it's everywhere. But you can order it off amazon, then again why go to all that trouble just to kill some gnats, if you go into amazon you can buy stuff specifically designed for that reason. I guess you could also drink the coffee, that would be the only reason. It's good coffee tho :)

Had a little catch up with your journal there mate, right before i started sharing that awesome yet strange story about me killing bugs in a creative way while on duty. I hope you don't mind me riding along, i like the strain selection and what you've done with the place.

good wishes and best of luck with your garden

:Namaste:

Welcome 420brother! Glad to have ya. I did 6 years in the Army myself. The only coffee I remember was the instant mud we would make out of the M.R.E.'s. Terrible stuff but it give you a buzz that would make your hair grow...good for staying awake in basic training classroom courses lol. Anyway the gnats are gone, a little yucca in the waterings took care of them.

Good morning Duggs!! Thanks for stopping by! The pups are doing great. I'm getting ready to load the boy up and take him to the grow store with me. I need to get some more pro-mix and ewc's and start cooking 2 more kits. I promised the wife I'd mix her one for her veggies and the other one i want to do some autos outside this summer. I don't think I could get away with a large outdoor plant but I think I can do some autos without any trouble. That leads to a question, do you or anyone think I could do an outdoor run in HB in pots, then when they are done, re-ammend the soil and use it indoors for fall/winter?

Hey brotha...ya man,you can do that for sure...just make sure when you bring it back inside ther'es no critters in it!Cheers!

You can try the Yucca extract to kill off the gnatts too. Curso suggested it for mine and it seems to be working so far. If you need a link send me a pm and I will hook you up.

Hello Neikodog, Im subbed.

My soil is almost ready and should be starting my 1st HB grow in a week or so. I had the same issue with my first batch of seeds and had to switch to some bag seeds that i had. Its a bummer but at least your plants are looking good now.

:welcome: Snoop. Yeah it was a tough start but it's all good now. I'm really excited about the Tikal, I got a feeling about them.
