N420 Grows Barney's Farm Orange Sherbert & Special Guests

I can vouch for the blue dream'mattic. She's a grower and then some. Very, very good for an auto. IIRC @farside05 got close to a pound off one last summer.

She grows very well. Not overly thick in the bush, so good for air circulation. She's probably seen the least defol of the 5 autos I have going right now. I have her in promix this round. Next time I'm going to put her in a dutch/hempy bucket setup. I bet she blows the roof off in that.

Trying to figure out my next auto run. All will be from fast buds. Thinking I'll do another blue dream'mattic, either a green crack or mexican airlines, then a six shooter and a blackberry. The first two and second two should pair well, and all should pair pretty well for finishing times.
Come see my BlackBerry multi Amazing looking buds on this strain. the lsd are very fast too and by far some of the best looking buds I have ever grown. beautiful from the 1st flower sets and only getting more unique as they grow too. not massive fielders but wow they smell amazing.

sorry for the photo bombing but thought they were relevant to the fast buds chat N. you will love the Bluedreamatic but give her lots of space as suggested ( missed all the replies you had due to late arrival . doh !)

Hi there N! Hope you had a great Xmas with the family. New seeds is always so exciting, what a great present! Can’t wait to see some update pics of dwc. You know I’m a quad lover, but I’m scared to try it on autos too. I know it can be done, but I’m still a scaredy cat! Lol. Should be about time for the harvest, right? :nomo:

I've always wanted to grow a blue dream and from what I've seen the bluedreamtic looks like a good one. Really looking forward to the Purple Lemonade I think it's one of their newer strains and I've been looking for a strain that goes purple and like you said is supposed to be a decent size plant. The Pe should be great I've heard some good things about it. Seedsman strain description says it is an easy plant to grow and puts out some good size buds it also says it's an aphrodisiac so I hope all 3 traits hold true lol.

I'm glad the Bluedreamtic isn't to bushy I do like to defoilate photos but I'm not to sure how an auto would handle it. I've only grown an auto once and that was outdoors last summer it turned out ok but I think indoors in a controlled environment it would have done alot better. The Blackberry does look like a good one as well would like to grow it out one of these days.
On the BlackBerry, I wish I had let them go their preferred route with a little less holding down. This is only as i had taller strains alongside that have dwarfed them beside the Lsd-25 which has 2 shorter phenos and 1 sister from another Mr by the totally different look and way she has grown. The 1 of each I left untrained have remained relatively short at about 1.2m max so explains why the canopy is so uneven with the even shorter, trained girls. Upshot being they stay nice and managable in a height restricted roof space whether held down or not.
both are blackberry .One in left is tied down lst , left is as she grew with no restraint at all. Not much in it for height at all

It's a date. I'll probably be doing 2 Purple Lemonade and 2 Seedsman Strawberry Cheesecake Autos.

So says King SPOG®

I know quading is all the rage. I tried it once. Meh, and that was with a photo. I'd be scared to death to do it on an auto. That much hacking when you have limited veg time? I know there are people that do it, but I'll stick with a simple top and bowl train.
I backed out with this auto grow and I love quads. As you said , the speed can be a scary thing to get in the way of. even worried me defoliating them. Looking forward to photos again and these fast flowering testers but have enjoyed the experience of them. let's see what yield decides on my final thoughts between them. Well worth doing mate .

Cannot sing the praises of the Bluedreamatic enough matey. they are huge and happy growers. Farside05 is a bluedream pro and worth seeing his grows of them. .looks like mrs has done you well mate. Mrs Gg got me an oculus quest so now I don't even need to bebin the same room if she gets pissed at me ever.lol ( not that that is possible as I am a perfect hubby !). slowly catching up here mate . sorry for the neglect brother. looking forward to the next pages now.
Happy to have stop by Gg. I'm pretty excited about the Fastbuds strains they haven't showed up yet but hopefully soon. Gonna be doing a comparison with Farside05 with the Purple Lemonade in about a month just need the beans first . Nothing to do with Seedsman it's the crappy postal system they have here. Bluematic does look like an awesome strain can't wait to give them a try. No worries for not being around I know you got alot going on I'm always glad to see you pop in no matter when it is.

No problem with the photo bomb those buds are beautiful Gg. If I had buds like that I'd want to share them to always welcome to drop pics here whenever you want.

Hey Hh yes we had a very nice Christmas we just ended up staying home most of the extended family were away so it was actually quite peaceful... Well peaceful as it can be with 2 little one's bouncing off the walls in excitment lol.

Should have an update on the Dwc girls soon. Gotta say I'm been quite happy with them so far and makes me want to start another bucket or 2. In fact I'm starting a Canadian Comparative grow soon and was going to do pro mix now I'm thinking one of the plants in a Dwc bucket and the other in promix.

I've had an interest in quadline training but not sure I want to risk it on my auto's I don't have much experience growing them so will probably keep it simple for my first go at them.

I do have a harvest coming up probably this week sometime. I kinda backed off on the updates with the Gz kinda embarrassed about how they look after my light schedule screw up but will have to swallow my pride and put up a few pics of them.

Those plants are taking off N! Looks great in there :thumb:
Thanks alot Shed.Things have been going quite well the last little while with them. I am kinda surprised how big the fan leaves they are pushing out are not sure if it's a genetics or the Dwc but either way they are so cool to look at.

All 5 of the autos I have going now were quadlined. I wasn't sure the Mexican Airlines was going to make the deadline, but she snuck in right under the wire.

That thread is a good read, if you want to dip your toes.

We just commiserate because we've all done something messed up.

It's not like "someone" here recently (yesterday) had been using the spaghetti strainer to clean perlite, needed it to drain potatoes, so chucked about a cups worth of perlite into the pitcher they use to scoop RO water out and pour into jugs....

then last night went to grab a pitcher of RO to top off their humidifier...

perlite all up in the 55gal barrel...

Whoopsie!

Thanks for the encouragement and support and the laughs to. Well here it goes brief run down on the Gz.

We are on the home stretch I gave them a heavy watering of plain water on Christmas eve... it's not a flush Shed lol. It has taken until today for them to use up that water so it seems they are slowing down now and I plant to harvest this weekend.

One of the plants was the most effected by my light screw up and has shot out small branches out of the top of the buds. The branches have continued to grow over the last week and are now about 2 -3 inches long.
Couple of pics of the effected plant.

The rest of the plants were effected but way less noticeable. Some of them have a bit of extra leaf on the top of the bud and some of the buds don't look effected at all.

In the end I think it will turn out ok I will still get some nice smoke out of it and will take this as a lesson to always!!!! check your timers and don't take for granted that they will be set the way you left them.

On a positive note the unaffected buds look great they are super frosty and have a slight purple hue to them and feel very dense. Looking forward to harvesting these ladies and trying my first sample in a few weeks.

What GG said! Post the screw-ups here and no one (seriously) makes fun of you. We just commiserate because we've all done something messed up. Even shite-looking plants can be a learning tool for others.
Thanks Shed I did quote your message in the post above but it didn't add it for some reason. Your right though I learn from making mistakes and if someone else can learn something to I'm more then happy to share.

Looks like reveg growth but the buds look great! Just a suggestion for next time you go with a plain water clear-out...follow it immediately with nute water. Since plants that age are slowing down water intake it's better if you keep them well fed at the end.

Can't wait for the chop. Happy New Year N!
Thanks very much Shed I hope you have a great New Years as well.

My biggest concern with the reveg was it messing up the buds and the plants focusing on trying to push out leaves instead of bulking the buds up. But in the end I'm happy with how the buds look and should still be some potent smoke. Next time I will definitely follow the plain water with a feed kinda forgot about that step.
