N420 Grows Barney's Farm Orange Sherbert & Special Guests

I'm working on my attention to detail trait so bear with me.
I'm losing track now!
Os clones
They look great outside N! And those solid trunks look solid :).
Gz Update
Nice work on the transplant, and the fungus in the hole is the only time you want fungus in the hole. :welldone:
has mostly cloudy thricomes wanted to go a bit longer but is it worth the risk?
I was going to say take it down, so well-done on the harvest! Beautiful-looking plant and great trim job too. Mostly cloudy will do you just fine.
My memory isn't a strong trait of mine
Now I have lost track. And here I thought keeping track was one of my strong traits... :(

I can make you a flow chart. i've been studying those.

Now, making other people lose their traits is a strong trait of mine. I'm proud of that one ;)

Thanks Shed!
The outdoor Os are cruising along nicely may transplant them tonight

Happy with how the Gz transplant went very smooth. Don't worry that's the only hole I have with fungus in it

The trim went well they have been drying for a couple of days now by the weekend I will probably be able to jar them. I won't have time to take the rest down until the weekend but looks like I got the rot under control.

Looks awesome!! Great harvest. Late for the party I see..

Any idea what caused bud rot? Would be a bit disappointing.
Hey hyau94 nice to see you here your welcome any time.
Bud rot can be caused by a few things. For starters high humidity during the last few weeks of flower. My humidity was around 50-55% ideally it should be around 40-45%. Another cause is lack of airflow I had 2 clip fans blowing across the top of my canopy and a small fan below, it wasn't enough so I added a tower fan and it seemed to fix the issue. Lastly moisture is high inside the large top buds of your plants and is trapped in there so making sure their is enough airflow around those buds is very important.

You got it right Gg! always get a good laugh here on 420 you guys are hilarious can turn a bad day into a good one.

How do you guys post links to pages outside of 420 in your posts. Was going to post a link about the cause of bud rot but could not figure out how to do it. I'm sure it's simple but you got me lol

Air movement is important but the biggest factor is keeping the humidity under 50% in the last few weeks of flower. We kinda weird summer with a fair bit of rain which caused me to fight my humidity.

Os Clones

Not sure I should call them clones anymore they certainly are well past the cloning stage lol. Maybe Os outdoor?
Anyways I up potted these tonight into 3 gallon pots I think they are going into flower soon if they haven't already. They aren't really putting out any pistols yet but I think they may be starting to stretch.hopefully the transplant won't mess them up to much I was careful not to disturb the roots to much.

Hey 420 I got my seeds from True North yesterday! It went smoothly from the ordering the 420 discount , sending payment through e transfer and the shipping. I got the seeds in the breeders packs which I really appreciate. something about seeds being removed from breeders packs for stealth shipping I don't really like. All in all I would recommend them and I would order from them again.

Here is what I got

Going to run these in my 3x3 only have room for 2 plants in the tent so now I have to decide which one to go with.

Gz update

The Gz have recovered from the transplant and are starting to get going again. I have still been spraying with the Castile soap mix every other day has been about 3 weeks of doing that and am not really seeing any signs of thrips so am thinking about stopping soon hopefully they are gone for good.

Looking for some advice I want to start training soon but not sure which way to go. With the Os I topped once at the 5th node then let them go until they hit 7 weeks right before I wanted to flip them I tied down the main tops to spread them out more. I should have done it earlier and didn't have the room to really get them open as much as I wanted to. In the end it was ok but if I could get them more even I think it would have been better.
So should I still top at the 5th node? Start lst now to get them more even earlier.I did read a good quad line tutorial and that has intrested me but I think I can accomplish the same thing with lst.

Here they are today got some side shots so you can see where they are one shot of each plant.

And from above

Once you top a plant, you want to slowly tie the top node branches out, with the goal of eventually having the growth tips just below the level of the topping point. This will do two things for you. First it will allow the lower nodes to catch up to the canopy, and second, it will encourage all the growth along the lower portion of the top branch to become new tops.

You can do the same with the next node down if they are close together.

After the lower growth is level with the top, you can stop tying the top ends low and allow the entire plant to grow up with nice flat canopy.
