N420 Grows Barney's Farm Orange Sherbert & Special Guests

Hey Everyone,

Time for a flower tent update! Today is day 15 and things are coming along nicely! The girls continue to stretch, thankfully we are 2/3rds of the way through the stretch period because I only have another foot left of adjustment on the rope ratchets!

I’ve given the girls their first feeding of Flora Flex last night so we will have to see how they respond. It’s fairly easy to use, they suggest starting with an ec of .03 by adding Cal Mag before adding parts B1 and B2. For me that means 1.5 ml of GH Calimagic to 2 gallons of water. The suggested final ec is 2.1, for me to reach that it takes 7grams of B1 and B2 to 2 gallons of water easy peasy! It’s a lower ec then the other stuff which was around 2.8 ec so we will see how this all plays out over the next little while!

I have some nice little buds forming already considering their age, not to much of a smell or frost yet but we should see both soon!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

I'm having a better weekend now having seen those plants! Most excellent. :thumb:

Thanks Shed! Your too kind! My opinion may be a bit biased but I think these girls are packing it on pretty well for them only being in flower for 2 weeks!

The thing I’m most concerned about is Pm and so far a clean bill of health! Not that I think my environment is conducive to it, I’ve made sure there is plenty of air moving but it’s always in the back of my mind.

Hey Everyone

Got a quick clone update today! The Gorilla Zkittles girls got some new shoes last night. I haven’t been able to give these a whole lot of attention over the last little while so they got a bit big in their little 4 inch pots. The flower tent is keeping me busy with having to water pretty much every day.

The clones have been growing under my 315 Cmh light because I couldn’t get the tent warm enough with the led I usually use for Veg, it’s working out well so far once things warm up a bit I will get the led back in there.

I’m going to give them a few days to get settled in to their new homes then it’s going to be topping and node removal time for some more quads!

And one bonus pic of the flower tent on day 17!

Looking super nice, @N420.

What temp. do you like for your clones?

Thanks Gdb! I have been experimenting with temps particularly with leds. You want your leaf temps to be around 82 degrees with led because it doesn’t produce much infrared heat compared to hid lights. Your leaf temp is usually 2 degrees cooler then your room temp so I’ve been running at 84 degrees with the flower tent. The best way to measure the leaf temp is with one of those infrared thermometers but I don’t have one so that’s why I’m running things at 84.

The clones are under the Cmh so I run it slightly cooler because it provides infrared heat from the light so I’m running at around 78 degrees to achieve a similar leaf temp of 82 degrees.

Flower tent looks amazing, and you got some serious roots on those clones. They're growing great and will love the extra legroom!
Thanks Shed! It will be good for the clones to be able to stretch their legs a bit! Let’s just say I’m glad I don’t have any more plants than the ones I have going lol. Lights don’t come on in the flower tent until 8pm and that’s right at the kids bedtime, their room is right above the garage where the tents are set up so all I can hear is my youngest doing her best imitation of a monkey jumping off of her bed and onto the floor lol. That combined with her coming out of her room every 3 seconds until 11pm makes it pretty hard to get much done in the garden

ive Tried night time lights due to lower rates yadda Yadda I can never get 100% darkness in daylight hours ! So jelly
garden looks amazing 420 !

Good to see you Northern! I have my tents in the garage so it’s pretty easy to have total darkness during the day, I just put black garbage bags over the windows and it’s totally black in there. I run the lights at night because that’s when I’m home to work in the garden, I’m at work all day so after the kids are in bed is my free time to get things done! Never considered the better hydro rates in the evening but it’s an added bonus!

Hey Bvb! The clones have worked out well, I’ve picked out the 2 bigger phenos and they are growing big just like their moms!

Trust me... the only thing I’m planning on propagating is more plants!!

Nice root development. My dentist would love to see whites like that. :bravo:
Thanks so much Mr.S! My dentist would love to see my teeth that white too... That’s why I don’t go see him lol.

Hey Everyone!

Sorry for the lack of updates, things have been pretty busy over the last little while. We went camping over the Easter weekend, it was a lot of fun but still a bit chilly, we have a another camping trip planned for May long weekend so hoping for some warmer weather!

The flower tent is at day 31 and stacking up quite nicely. I lowered my net down last night as I’m getting some floppy branches as the buds get bigger. I’ve got a Calcium deficiency going on with Gz #2 and Skunk at the uppermost leaves, I’ve been adding Cal Mag at half strength over the last week or so but it continues to progress so will be bumping it up to full strength on my next watering. Other then that not much else new, I am in the process of getting some parts together for a watering system to cut down on the work load and to have in place for the camping season so I can keep the girls happy when I’m not home for a few days. The Easter camping trip worked out since we were only 10 mins from home and I was able to run home to water but the next planned trip is much further away and can’t be running home to water!

Stacking nicely indeed! Great pics as well N.

Floppy branches and running home when on vacation to water plants. The life of a grower!
