N420 Grows Barney's Farm Orange Sherbert & Special Guests

Finally caught up. Great work N420!

I should also mention that I got boveda 62 packs as well for the first time recently what's the best approach to use them? Put them in the jar as soon as the bud comes out of the drying rack or do the cure with the hydrometers until my humidity is steady at 62% or less then put them in to maintain the humidity in the jars. Any comments would be greatly appreciated
The packs wont raise or lower RH, it only maintains it. So you need to get it stable before adding them. It's meant more for long term storage, so if you go through your meds fast then chances are you wont need them.

Toothpick time for the leaning lady. if its in the right place it will only offer support to grow and not weaken it . such a vulnerable time. i hate this bit.lol
In the future if this happens... If you can still find a plastic straw, cut to length the size you need, then slice it open lengthwise. Carefully wrap around the stem and slide into the dirt a bit to hold it. Works great. Make the slit large enough where you're not fiddling with it to try and get it open.

Really I'm trying to get smooth smoking weed that tastes good and getting the best yield I can
The way to get the best taste, smell, and smoke from your harvest is the correct dry and cure.

On a final note, @DrSeeds is another Canadian sponsor here that members go to. They always have the 3 FOR 2 sale on for members, so you can get three tins for the price of two. Pricing is good and delivery fast. Top notch customer service as they always get back to you in my experience.

Great work on the screen! If you have some spare cash laying around, a lux meter is a great investment for $20-30 US. Makes checking light intensity a breeze.

And great work getting MrSauga here. He's a great asset, as he demonstrated with his replies. :ciao:

Had a Quick thought this morning. When I go to feed the Gz should I add cal mag to the mix even though I'm not seeing any deficiency? My understanding is plants require more cal mag under led? Was thinking about just using it from start to harvest as a preventative thing.
A little cal-mag never hurt anyone! When I used it I would start as soon as I started them on nutes. LEDs do seem to deplete the cal-mag in the leaves faster than other lights.

Thanks Shed! It's great to be here :) I snuck in without an invite btw. Shhh!
Ahhhh there you are !!!, right lads lets have this one out the tradesmans entrance !!!
Never a dull moment with Mr Sauga skulking . lol
never fail to raise a smile for your comments mate.

Heya N420, nice buddage mate. I love ya focal shades, really do punch into the canopy for long colas.
CMH, sooo good for buds.
Mine is best in years, quality wise.
Taste of weed aftrr a good cool dry and cure.....WOW!
Watch any bud rot, and cut it out....or lose the lot later to spores.
The plant looks happy, no flushing and watering every few days keeps them happy.
I try and recreate nature in a way.
Roots need the most love, everything from there is where the magic happens.
Like temps, you can heat the room but if roots are cold, doesnt matter.
Heat the roots to ground temps....they explode in growth, and it doesnt matter the changes in temp elsewhere on the plant. Cheaper to heat too.
My tip for later grows.

Hey Mr. S so happy to have you here on my journal love your humor and great insight

The boveda's have worked well I did use them after having them curing in the jar for a week to maintain the perfect rh. The real breakthrough for me this time was getting the mini hydrometers made getting that perfect rh way easier no more guess work.

Thanks for letting me know about Dr. Seeds will definitely check them out the next time I am looking for seeds. I went with true north this time because I was specifically looking for Barney's seeds and they were the only bank in Canada that I could find that carried them.

Thanks shed I give the credit to you never would have thought to hang a screen below the light like that

I'm happy to have Mr. S he is another of the great members here that has helped me along in growing this awsome plant.

Sounds like a plan will give them Cal mag off the start.

Thanks Lowie! Really happy with how these buds are stacking up longest and biggest colas I have grown so far the pictures I manage don't do them justice. Lovin the cmh no where for the buds to hide lol. The flavor from the last harvest is awesome grew a blueberry and the taste is amazing loved it so much got some more blueberry seeds on the way more on that later. Makes sense what you say about the roots I think the summer weather here has been perfect for this grow a few hot days but not many it's really helped the environment and keeping those roots happy

No problem, I must have missed the part about wanting the Barney's seeds. Dr Seeds is a breeder and carry only their own stuff. I'm working on my attention to detail trait so bear with me.

does the Bear point stuff out or is it more brutal if you miss something Mr S ?? , might hire it for Mrs GG if its the latter !!!

If Mrs GG is like Mrs S, the bear doesn't stand a chance, so it doesn't really matter :p
Fair point Mr S. Very nearly cost a bear finding out and i still havent buried the victims yet !. good call.
