That copper is serious shit... I think I have it under control, for now. I am thinking any stress will bring out an explosion so I am on high alert. I did just look over the big girls before lights out... all cool :phew:

...hmmm I wonder if copper works like silver?... hmmmm

Copper kills lots of things. Like roots! Be careful with that stuff

I have only had good luck with this product. It has never hurt even the newest clones... but I wonder if it is responsible for my hermies? Meaning will copper hermie plants like silver?

A few from this morning before lights out.

:peace: ... so far so good, please enjoy

I read that copper sulfate is a vital nutrient but if overdosed it will kill the root structure turning it to a clump and then death after
but it can also premote the surgars of the fruit it is applied to. but a little to much will also cause lock out

Cool... I use it only once if I can, twice if I have to and if a plant does not come around after that it is gone, no more f'ing around.

plus reps for the info

I found that flushing on a regular basis when growing in soil with one of those salt removal solutions is really good. Also what I try and do every 2 weeks is to water the plants in my tub. To really give them a nice good soak. So Ill flush the soil every 3-4 weeks and every 2 weeks ill really soak them with water with nutes. Then in between I water normally whenever they ask for it. My new grow has really exploded compared to the first one where after the first 2-3 weeks they would stagnate but that was due to poor nutes management. Really now I feel allot more confidence and also just more relaxed with the plants they look super healthy and just gives me more peace of mind. Find myself opening the box now to just sit and look at them more for tranquillity compared to before when I would stress myself out about the plants. Serenity is waaaay nicer to take part of. And seeing you more experienced growers now that I have one under my belt, I feel as if I can utilize the information shared even more. So thanks for that! :Namaste:

Gotta say Buck your grow is just so beautiful pure eye candy! :bravo:

are you using a water softener? if not you shouldnt need the removal solution as flush with water as much as you say you do that would seem to be enough.
agreed that a good flush atleast once a grow is a good thing:thumb:
just my opinion

Re: smoke report and bud porn for the page 100 party

hey Buck can you tell me how early you use the foliage pro? I think thats the stuff I picked up? I am assuming once flowering starts no more foliar feeding?
Thanks Buchshot

Had to edit after going back a few pages and seeing the PM issues. I only used a sulphur burner once last year (hope I never have to again) so Im no vet. or anything but wondn't advise anyone using it during the flowering cycle if you can help it. I guess during the later stages of the plants life you wouldn't want to use much of anything BUT the burner did just that it really hurt the flowers. Maybe I used to much or to long?? Not sure but as beautiful as your flowers always are Buck I'd hate to hear that you had the same outcome as I did. Like a baby nuke, just fried the love right out of them.
Good luck buddy

I don't have PM, and I spray the plants twice a week, right up until harvest.

PM is mostly a function of the environment. Often times, the humidity spikes right when the lights go off and the temps drop rapidly. If the air circulation isn't good, and the air is a bit stale, it's prime time for PM. Once you get an outbreak, making it dry doesn't really help, and will more than likely encourage mites!

The Sulfur burner works, and much of that sulfur can be washed off at harvest by doing a bud wash.

But the best solution for PM is to mineralize the soil and raise the brix levels up a bit. Over 12 and you just don't need to worry about things. Mineralizing now would help these plants fight back.

I just did it again... I replied to you all, I got almost done, hit some key wrong and it put me to the previous page and wiped my text faaaak! Dang it, I have to hit you all later

for now I will say thank you to all of you

Thanks moutaingoat, I will have to pop over to check you out. I hear you are in the groove... always a nice place to be :cheesygrinsmiley:, thank you for sharing, I would need some automated thing if I was to go that far, just watering nearly cripples me.

I have to use ph down ... I am sure it builds up and I should flush, at least that's what the wife tells me :cheesygrinsmiley:

Yum yum..:bravo:

:cheesygrinsmiley: thank you miwa. I was over in your beautiful garden just sittin :cheesygrinsmiley:

Yes I am very happy with LED. The initial investment is still high however you realize a significant reduction of electricity and you don't buy bulbs. As an example I was talking to a fella who runs two 600 watt HPS for bloom, I run 5 180 or so watt LED panels. I can cover about the same area with good light (maybe a little larger) with 300 less watts. I would suggest that the product I get could be top shelf but I am a proud papa :cheesygrinsmiley: so others will have to judge.

well they sure work for takin pictures so they must do somethin good:)

fish cake knows the real reason I use LEDs :cheesygrinsmiley: ... and I gotta get me one a those tent things for bokeh :cheesygrinsmiley:

Thanks for information AZ :cheesygrinsmiley: I start foliar feeding at varied times it really depends on the plant. It needs to be established and already in good health. I then foliar feed approximately once a week with a very light mix of foliage pro and pro-tekt. I do this right after feeding so the combo work in concert. So far the big girls are holding their own :cheesygrinsmiley:

Docbud thank you.

I am interested in brix testing my ladies as a baseline but have not yet looked at what I need to do that. I am amazed that you are able to spray your plants in bud with no issues. I never foliar feed once budding has started, I don't even like rain! I know, I know. I would pull them rather than put anything on them once in bud. If I had foliar feed at the right time when the mold bloomed the entire room would be white :yikes: You say a high brix lady can resist this... I must :reading420magazine: up on your work.

Thanks again

PS

I wrote all this in an editor and pasted. I added one smiley and hit enter and it f'ing wiped everything!! Glad I saved the text this time!!
