My Room - Perpetual LED Soil

Hey! I'm not a cat! had this problem before? Or a naughty kitty? Bugs...yeah put some Neem oil in the glue and or DE I would be offended if some bug did that to me plants and would do some mad scientist Nazi evil shit to them fill holes with anything that would not hurt my plants and after harvest fill with lighter fluid and throw a match ! Then sig a hole bury the rest takes a dump on em and fill with cement ! But that's just me...don't mess with my girls! *starts screaming slayers song "chemical warfare"* die die die dieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

My Dog seems to think a good leg hump is the way to thank me for dinner... he gets blasted

neem oil... I have some of that!!! cool

I thought it was due to age? Lol

that is white :cheesygrinsmiley:

I cut flo last night. This is the first flo I was able to let go all the way. I tried the scissor hash... I still don't like the flavor. My hands had a menthol smell just like the strain info said. The effect is not what I need for meds but I did meditate :cheesygrinsmiley:

I know she is pretty but I think she will be dropped, we'll see after the cure.

Hey Buckshot. I keep waiting to see a bad pic, but maybe you have one of those magic cameras that won't take one. :)
I really liked the one with the lady bug. They are such cool little buggers! You use a G10 or 11 I think, but I don't really trust this memory anymore. :blalol:

Grats on finishing a Flo! :thumb:

It's hard to let go of genetics. I'm having a hard time letting go of any of mine. I still have all, but one, of the females my first batch of seeds produced. I've given up on my White Widow strain as well. My wife, basically a non-smoker, likes that one the best, but I just don't like the way that strain grows for me. Patients liked it, but I will only grow what I want to smoke. Anyway, that one wasn't too hard to let go of, but I need to cull another dozen or so! :yikes:

Re the grey ponty tail. I can't wait for mine to turn totally white! I wear a goatee now, and, like the pony tail, it's getting pretty grey. When it finally goes white, I'll probly grow a full beard. I've grown out a beard a few times for Halloween and went as Jesus. When it turns white I can be Gandalf! :)

Hey Hiker,

I take LOADS of shitty pics, I just post the good ones :cheesygrinsmiley: (D5000)

You got rid of white widow? dang. What strain works for you?

I should put on a "face" and take a new self portrait, ya got me thinking now

Anyone reading this journal grown flo before? I just picked up the drying bag and I noticed a remarkable weight loss (sorry I did not weigh) so I picked up a nice fat top and notice it is... fluffy not dense... I am pretty sure she will get the boot. I wonder what she would do outside. My outside plants are so different from inside it is amazing. For instance the indoor haze that turned purple did so at 80f day 60f night, a clone from that plant outside is getting 60f day and 40f at night and is still lime green :cheesygrinsmiley:

I've not grown Flo, but I can comment on the purple. I'm not sure exactly what causes it. I always thought it was the low night temps, but in my recent crop, I had 2 plants turn super dark purple. The weird part is, they were clones of the same strain, but there were other clones of that same mother that did not turn purple. The 2 affected plants were next to each other in the garden, but I can't figure out how the conditions could have been that different for just those 2 plants.

I've got a few plants outside too, and mine do look a little different than their indoor sisters, but the amount of difference varies. My AK-48s look about the same outdoors as they did indoors, but some of the other strains look very different.

I said I could comment on it. I didn't say I had any useful information. :blalol:

The WW just doesn't like the conditions I'm providing I guess. My next round is going to include Blueberry for sure. I'll probably also grow more Bubba Kush because I love Kush strains, but it's a lower yielder, so I won't do a whole room of it. I'm going to run 3 strains total this next round (down from 6 in the last crop). I'm still undecided on whether #3 will be the AK-48 or the TGA Apollo 13 x Vortex. All through the grow, I was thinking it would be the TGA gear based on the smoke. I really like smoking that strain, but this batch didn't come out as nice. I'm sure the smoke will be good, but the buds were real thin and they fox tailed bad. I have 3 cultivars of both that strain and the AK-48, so I planned to finally pick my favorite and flower out the other moms with the next crop. I've been holding off taking the clones for the next batch until I could asses the results of this crop. I want to take them tomorrow though, so I'll be making that decision tonight I guess. :blalol:

It is weird with purple... I actually have some blueberry in the mix :cheesygrinsmiley: and some wild ass hybrids too. I also have had ups and downs from the same genetics. I attribute it to my perpetual style of growing. The same strains go into flower throughout the year with vastly different climate conditions so no wonder they come out different :cheesygrinsmiley: I have totally fucked up my clones again. I also almost wiped out everything. It sucks relying on a totally unreliable old man (me) to provide a reliable stream of medicine. I have forgotten to water again or more accurately thought I watered and had not, wtf. I was strain surfing :dreamy: and actually took a close look at vortex. The plant I saw was a frosty thing of beauty.

speaking of purple and beauty have you seen BID's recent efforts?

Forgot to report I just took 260 grams wet of prime clean trimmed outdoor s girl. I also got a lot of sweet leaf and juicy popcorn buds. They are not done yet! I hope for a couple more sweet buds and a bunch more popcorn. I am going to buy one of those portable washer machines and wash me up something good! Thanks Jon

Hey I was just doing a fast drive by and looks like you got the same problems I do,,,,, no SUN and wet. I also seen you asked about the bud rot. I didn't see any on those pictures. Cold wet weather doesn't make for happy looking buds. I;ve been dealing with bud rot since I moved here to Oregon. Keep your eyes open for some acclimated to your area. Like BID said 7 weekers are about the best bet to try with. I did dig thru my pictures and found a shot of some bud rot;

You look and see a brown dry wrinkled up leaf sticking out your bud. You can pull on it and it will pop out easily and the bud will crumble right where you pulled that leaf. Closer look will show a brown mushy center spot on the bud. Carefully cut it "Completely" out and cross your fingers. GL and Keepem Green

oh I got pics... :cheesygrinsmiley: I have been using your method of cutting out the offending buds. This leaves mold on the stem I have been taking SNS fungicide and spraying a Q-tip and applying directly to the stem only in the affected area.

A surprise from the haze... another 345g wet :cheesygrinsmiley:

since I am just rambling I will edit this post.

Is it just me or is blue dream like twice what it was after a few months?

dry and in for the cure

afternoon light hand held so it is not as crisp as I usually like it... but that is sweet light :cheesygrinsmiley:

That's exactly what I do when finding mold on my flowers Buckshot & instead of spraying the stem like some which leads to more rot in my humble opinion. Q-tips may not be good to use in a persons ear I hear but they work great for doctoring bud when harvest comes near. :laughtwo:

some very nice looking buds, looks like nice dense buds as well, certainly dont look light and fluffy

you got some very nice plants buckshot, id love to grow outdoors but we just dont have good summers here anymore, i planted outdoors 2 years ago and the plants got flooded out and turned yellow so i just left them where they was knowing they wouldnt last long, their was no gowth or anything, just stretched like crazy due to to many cloudy days and way to much rain, but this year i really wish i had of planted outdoors as this summer they would of done well, but we dont normally have summers like this one so im sure next year will be back to the rain and cool summers, but been as this summer was a really nice one i will grow some plants indoors and take them outdoors but i wont plant them in the ground ill use some big fabric type pots and leave them in that, i might cut holes in the bottom to allow the roots to grow down into the ground to help with water but then if it does pour down with rain at least the roots will have an easier time in the pots as they wont be swimming in water all the time

You might try coco as medium for your next outdoor try, coco allows good drainage and dries out quick.

I am going to take guesses on how LITTLE this flow plant gave me... I even kept in the stems on the big tops
