My Room - Perpetual LED Soil

I Only Hit LIKE, Because It Showed Everyone What Happens If You Grow Outside, And Do Not Use As An Inner Barrier, Largest Of The Texas Tomato Cages, Then Around Those You Should Use Concrete/Small Pests Fencing Wire, Cut So That It Is 5 Feet Wide Circular, And At Least 6ft Tall When Stood On End, I'll Take A Picture Of What Mine Looks Like, Or You Can Probably Go Back In Some Of My Old Photos, Like From My 2012 Journal, Or Hell, Even My2013 Journal, Or Any Of My Journals That Have Pictures Probably. That Is How I Keep My Branches From Breaking, Although A Few Always Seem To, Just Not On Every Plant!!! Yepp, SER Buck, Had That Atrocity Happen Before, It Really Sucks:hmmm:!!! SINCERELY, SER JAMESTHEGREEN:thumb:!!! Lord Commander Of The 420 Knights Watch.Anyone Heard From CURSO, Lately????

I had the cages I just could not manage them by myself cause my back was out... next year!

I cut most of both s girls but most of it ended in the compost pile. I was able to save maybe a qp or so from each of the sgirls but I had to do a lot of labor just to see if a branch was worthy.

Let me stop here... if any of this even remotely sounds like bitching I am not I am incredibly thankful for what I was able to get and learned valuable lessons for next year. Thank you.

OK lets go on, the weather has just been the worst it could be for the last 3 days...but... now a nice front is moving in and maybe I can get the sativas to go all the way. The hz x si is really surprising me, really showing sativa traits and barely budding. It is good it is barely budding and may save it from rot, on the other hand will it make it? :cheesygrinsmiley: I am learning.

I still have the s girls out there, they are about 6' now and I will leave them to do whatever. I am thinking they might give me another qp if I am lucky. It is now afternoon. I started this post this morning :cheesygrinsmiley: I got some pics this morning and I am gonna try for some more if the clouds break, while I am waiting I will see what I got and post 'em if they are any good.

Good Day Ser Buck:high-five:!!! It Is Truly Amazing What These Plants Can Survive, One Year It Hailed Up here On The 19th Of September, Plants Chock Full Of Buds, I Almost Went Crazy, Running Around My Garden Like A Bat Out Of hell, Managing In About 90 Minutes To Keep Only One Plant From Being Flattened, And I Was Only Wearing Sweat Shorts And No Shirt, Without Realizing It Or Feeling The Cold:loopy:!!! I Called My Mentor, When He Still Could Get Around, And He Told Me CHILL OUT, It Would Be OK!!! So Thinking Him Crazy As Hell, I Awaited His Arrival,Whilst Trying To Repair The Damage. Well It Took The Better Part Of The Day, And After Much Tying And Taping, And Using Plastic Zip Ties, Within 3 Days I'd say, The Garden Almost Looked Back To Normal!!! Boy Was I Relieved, I Mean Some Of The Branches Had Almost Been Completely Torn From The Plants, And A Couple Of Plants Split Right Down The Center!!! But Lo And Behold, Using The Above Mentioned Items, And Some Bamboo Stakes, I Was Able To Put Almost Everything Back To Rights Again:partyboy:!!! And I Thought My Harvest Was Ruined, But My Mentor Snapped back To Reality, Showed Me What I Needed To Do, And Voila, I Saved Over 90% Of The Garden. Plastic Zip Ties(ALL SIZES) Are Indispensible!!! And He Gave Me(MY MENTOR) The, I Told You To Buy Cages For Your Plants Speech, So The Next Year, I Heeded His Advice, And Have Not Been Without Them Since:laughtwo:!!!I Know A Lot Yours Went To The S.it Pile Buck, But I Think You Might Have Been Able To Save More Of Them Than You Thought(FINE ME SAYING THIS NOW, I KNOW!!!), If Only I Had Printed This Yesterday, Sorry Ser Buck:hmmm:!!! I Should Have Been Telling You This, Instead Of What I Wrote, OH WELL!!! Take Care Ser Buck And Ser Miwa And Ser Fish!!! James I will heed your sage advice and put bigger cages next year if I can get help, this plant and the one behind it came through without damage... well I say without damage, this one has/had some bud rot. I did not show the pic cause I wanted folks to see a happy shot!! This girl is not ready yet and I am going to let her go and just watch for rot. I really want some "finished" garden meds. I figure growing outside here in Maine is like growing with LED... folks keep telling me all the reasons I should not/can't do it properly, well I just gotta figure it out!!! I will get it better next year. Along with the cages there will be a prophylactic spraying of a systemic fungicide just prior to bud and I may get some big fans... I am thinking.

Oh someone told me to grow smaller plants... :cheesygrinsmiley: I told them not only will they be healthier, they will also be MUCH bigger!!!!!!!!!!!

We are starting to hit the 40s at night, that haze is known to turn purple in cold... man I hope for some sweet haze bud that gets to go all the way

I hope your harvest goes well and the BID and the MIL are cooperating.

Looks like you got some Oregon type problems. That damn rot. I found a spot of rot myself on one of mine tonight. And we are getting Oregon Sunshine for the past couple days, 'misty cloudy'. I pulled her under the patio and have a fan on her till the sun comes out. I lost quite afew plants since moving up here so I'm trying seeds from up here now. I'm going to look into some Canadian seeds next year also. Got to be some strain that will workout. I even grew Greenhouse Seeds AMS strain once, lol it got PM. Hey that plant that got nailed in the storm, I use pantyhose to do and major bandaging, works great. Sorry to hear your having problems I hope the sun pops out for the next few weeks for everyone. GL and Keepem Green

Sounds like the same weather :cheesygrinsmiley:... same basic climate or pretty close. We can get a dry fall now and then and that is really the only thing that is going to save the outside girls...but I am going to throw everything and the kitchen sink at them so they will have a better chance.

Thanks for stopping in!

That blue moon is spectacular....

Cheers.

Welcome and thank you Wacky Kush. I am smoking that plant as I type. While I no longer get "high" this plant has a deep effect that is long lasting and the smell and taste are very pleasing.

hey folks... a lot has been going on. I have had to cut the haze down too, bud rot. The three plants that have been cut are now approx 5' tall and their sub-buds are juicing up nicely, I will get a little more from the three of them. I still have one full plant out there. It is about 8-9' tall :cheesygrinsmiley: and has just started to really bud and we have a stretch of really nice weather but it is late here. we have had two frosts inland already and I think 3-4 weeks tops is all I have. I am going to let them all go to the bitter end and we will see what happens.

Remember I told you Maine folks about the sale last weekend? I went back in today for some SNS 209 (I love this stuff) and some Dyna-gro Pro-tekt and the sales person said hey we have some goodies we are giving away... I am like ALL OVER free stuff. Check out the pic I got some great shit free and there is plenty more!!! Urban Garden Center up in Topsham, got get you some free shit too :cheesygrinsmiley:

The youngest is the biggest and has the longest to go...see how the hairs are "greying" is that normal for outdoor girls or is that mold?

Nice little come up at the store buck. I am happy to see that you still got some standing way up in the northeast.

whats the humidity like way up there. Im sure they get a lot of moist air from the south. Around here in cali it was a rough month in august with extreme humidity and temps.

Hey Shottafire!

Well there is some still standing :cheesygrinsmiley: It has been a horrible season till now! This week we are having clean crisp air... but that is after smashing storms that caused bud rot and next week it is back to rain and cloudy !!! So I may go all teepee on the last girl to try and take her to the end. We'll see.

Thanks for stopping by!
