I don't get out much, what is fluxing?
Thanks for stopping by mcloadie I just enjoyed your words over at Bud Grant's and felt honored you stopped over here Sir
as far as Fluxing goes its a coined term for a style or training of a plant from one of 420's member Light Addict that he has grown some nice looking plants with.I have never tried it but when I had this clone root in the begining it looked to have 2 main branches starting low I thought I could go with that style. Then the smaller one just stalled growing, maybe having an issue of disease or mold so I cut it off.Maybe all the better because it would take longer veg with extra care and is probably too big for my grow set up anyways.I plan to run that particular 3rd gen clone from a fem Black Skull Jack Herer seed I had grown late into flower to be lucky for seeds.I have been seeing nanners pop late on clones just before 10 week flowering and hope if I grow one doing that for 3-4 weeks longer there should be a couple seeds Im hoping.
Here is a link to one of his journals for a way better show and tell of the Fluxing Technique

I have no problem useing that term and crediting him for it.
I swear I learned fimmimg through my own experience before ever reading or hearing about it which was cool to see it debuted in a mag and saying I know that!
I think I know what you mean Alkhemist. The one I talked about earlier I think your suggesting on the second leader I cut but I did have a clone that will be sitting a round or so out for more clones has one and I should do that on her. Its a low stress training I would call it and when I do lay this main leader over horizontal I will have multiple tops real quick. I bet with longer veg time and extra training this would be looking similar to the fluxing technique I think tooheya closet, just a quick suggestion which MAY help inspire growth in your 2nd leader.. if you tie the stronger leader over so that the point is even pointing down and it's horizontal.. and keep it tied over- you may beable to convince your plant to make the smaller leader the main leader- until such a time as it is catches up and then you can let the other leader go.. what generally happens is the plant will then push nutrients, and as a result vigor, to the 2nd leader.. i can't recall the technical name for this offhand but we used to do it often. it may work for you.. just a suggestion
