My Grow

Just a couple pics of the plants moved to the shed. They had their first night of 12/12 so Flower has officially begun.
I wonder how much they'll stretch.

Here's a few pics of the Grow Room in the shed for those who haven't seen it before. Also a pic of the AC cover I had to build to stop light from coming in. I have the AC running on 84F to start & I'll lower it a couple degrees every few days.
I have all 3 lights set to 75% until I check the Lux Reading & set it to 65,000 Lux.
If this White Widow stretches much it might end up being the biggest plant I've grown yet. She's about the size of most my plants at the end of flower now & I haven't even started it yet. I'm looking forward to finding out.
Here's some pics.

I always thought your flower room in house looks nice and tidy in there great job

Went out to the shed to check the plants this morning. None needed to be fed. Temps have been 75 - 82F according to the monitor. But RH is getting too high for flower. It was at 68%. Left the doors open & got it down to 45% for now. Putting the Dehumidifier out there tonight on 40% setting.

Dehumidifier is doing the trick. It was only at 35% this morning. Temp hasn't climbed over 82F. I'm comfortable with this. Fed all 3 plants while I was out there. I'm now feeding 6 gr. MC, 3 ml. of Si & 2 ml. of Cal-Mag per gal. All 3 lights are set at 75% about 20" above the canopy. This weekend I'll lower the light & adjust the brightness to 60 - 65,000 Lux & let things ride. Mon. - Thurs. I pretty much just feed unless something looks mandatory. Everything else get's done Fri, Sat & Sun when I'm off work.
Kind of weird how the plants look bigger in the tent. Now that they're in the shed they look kind of small to me. They Shrunk !

Got some new pics for you. It's been 5 days since the flip to 12/12 & the plants are stretching & filling out nicely. Pistils are starting to show a little more; but not good enough for a clear pic with my camera. I'm sure in another 7-10 days we'll be looking at dandelion tops.
The AC doesn't seem to be working well. I'm wondering if the cover I made is restricting the air flow too much. Going to try something else today to see if I can fix this. I had the AC on 80F & the room still got up to 90F yesterday. AC always kept it cool before. The AC didn't get used for over a year, but it worked fine last time I used it. Might be low on Freon.
Not sure yet. If worse comes to worse I'll put my portable AC out there.

Well guys, I'm going to start a 3rd journal in a week or two. I have a 2x4 tent & on the way is a Mars Hydro SP3000 & 4" Fan & Filter. So I'll be doing a small 2-3 plant grow in either 3 gal. or 5 gal. pots. I have a bunch of "Cherry On Top" regular seeds. I'm going to plant 6 of them since I have 6 spots in my Bubble Cloner. I'll top each of the 6 & clone the tops. Once they root I'll put them on 12/12 so I can find the males & get rid of them before I flower the actual plants.
There's a lot of newbies on the site so they'll be able to see how to Clone & how to identify the sex of the plant.
I guess I've gone Perpetual without really trying. Got 3 in Flower, 5 in Veg & more on the way !

Your shed is a beautiful peace of art. And those plants are amazing. Well done sir!

NTH
You should have seen that shed 2 years ago. It was falling down. I totally re-did the inside & out & added the electric.
I did one grow in it & didn't want to carry buckets of nutes out there so I quit using it. I plan to put a Utility Sink in it before too long.
The plants have really came a long way. I was struggling with them at first. They were growing at a snails pace. I think it was too cool for them at 77F ambient temp. Once I removed the AC & let temps hit mid 80's they just took off.

Hey Buds,

You run a killer show over here! Your tent speaks volumes, not your first rodeo, huh? Oh wow nice trim job, that og is ready to launch!

Hey not trying to be an ass (it comes naturally ha, ha) but just wanted to say - periodically monitor the temp of wooden box for your ac light trap

that’s good to hear about plants flourishing with higher temps

Hey Buds,

I can monitor the temp, but what is it I'd be looking for ? I checked the coil today & it's not icing up. There's a good 8" clearance on both sides & the top. About 10" in the front & the bottom is totally open. The box is made of 3/4" White Laminated Plywood for shelving so reflective to the sun & thick enough to keep heat off the AC . I turned the AC down to 77F but it still got to 90F again today. I'm thinking it's because of the dehumidifier running as it puts out hot air. I'll turn it off tomorrow & see what happens.

Yep, It was the Dehumidifier causing the High Temps. Grow room stayed 73 - 78F & RH was 31% - 38% with the Dehumidifier off. Hopefully it was just built up moisture from not using the shed in a long time that caused the High Humidity when I first started using the shed again. If it stays where it's at now things are good to go.
They got fed tonight. I'm currently feeding at 6 gr. MC, 3 ml. of Si & 2ml. of Cal Mag per gal. Plants seem to be fine & staying nice & green. Took 7 -24 oz. cups to get run off in each one.

Time for my weekly update. Can't really see any changes when I update more often so not a lot of sense in it. I like to be able to see a difference. I was just looking at the difference between 4-24's pics (1st day of Flower) & todays. They've grown a lot. I'm really happy things are turning out so well considering the slow growth at the start of the grow.
Anyway, I'm feeding these girls at 6 gr. MC, 2 ml. Cal-Mag & 3ml. Silica per gal. They drink about 1.5 gal. every 2 days.
Temps stay good as long as I'm not running the Dehumidifier. But the RH climbs about 15 - 20% each day so I've been running it 6 hours every 3rd day to bring the RH back down. I run it at night though, so temps haven't gotten over 86F.
OK, let's do some pics.

Nope, you couldn't pay me to live there. Those are worse than spiders!

Nope, you couldn't pay me to live there. Those are worse than spiders!
I usually find 1 or 2 every night. At least you can see them at night with the blacklight. During the day you have to be really careful picking up any wood. They blend right in & you can't see them till they crawl & they move pretty fast. Had one run right across my hand once. Scared the shit out of me. Lucky it didn't sting me.

Next week I'm going to make a change in grow areas. The shed keeps getting High Humidity so it's better for vegging.
So I'm going to bring the 3 Flowering plants in. These 3 plus the 3 bigger plants in my Comparison grow journal will be sharing the big tent. So all 6 will be in Flower. The other 2 plants from the comparison grow & the clones I have need to veg longer so they will go to the shed. Seems like the best way to go at the moment.

Started my new journal.... sort of if you're interested.
Me & the Mars Hydro SP-3000.... It's the "CHERRY ON TOP"

Been 8 days since my last update..... But I'm here now with all the latest.
First of all, I moved the 3 girls back into the tent. I couldn't keep the RH in the shed under 58% without running the dehumidifier. The dehumidifier blows hot air so the temps would get to 98F with it on; even with the AC on 75F. I was fighting a losing battle. The shed will be better for Veg & the Tent for Flower.
So I spent Friday cleaning & prepping the tent for Flower. It's going to be shared with 3 of my plants from my comparison grow. I put the TSL 2000 back in the tent along with the 4 Vipars. That's 900 total watts or 150 watts per plant. I had to make a platform over the bar in the center of the tent floor to set things up the way I wanted it.
Here's a pic.
14-386 5-14-22.JPG

So I now have my timers set for 10 p.m. ON & 10 a.m. OFF. Gives me time to work on them before work.
I'm currently feeding these 3 girls 6 gr. MC with 3 ml. of Silica & 3 ml. of Cal-Mag per Gal. They go through 1.5 gallons each every 2 days.
Today, I did my final defol / trim on them until the end of flower. It's been 3 weeks since we started 12/12 so the stretch should be over. All 3 of these girls are nice size & have been looking healthy as can be. I'm probably going to start securing some branches next week as I have a few tall ones.
I have pics of before & after my defol along with a couple shots of how they're budding up so far.
First up is the "WHITE WIDOW" . This one is the biggest of the 3. She looks like she'll yield pretty good, but who really knows till it's all said & done.
