Hello, I just thought I'd let you guys know I'm still kicking. I'm taking a strong antibiotic that should stop the infection but it upsets my stomach, But hopefully as I take the antibiotic I will get better (One of the Docs told me I could have had this for quite awhile which could explain why I've been so sick this year, as well as it's returning is a strong possibility). Enough about my problems, All my plants are still doing good (I had my son check and water them if necessary while I was gone). I won't bother you guys with my medical problems

Just thought I'd stop be and thank those of you still helping me along. Unfortunately, I will only be online for short periods, Everything that happened recently just drained me. Just want to say how much you guys mean to me. BTW, my helper surprised me and harvested the DCSSH while I was in (I had told him that it should be harvested in a few days) the hospital. The DCSSH has provided the biggest yield yet, I can't wait to get the dried out weight. Well, That's enough for tonight. Just wanted to keep you guys in the loop.

I can't help but asking, What is Jackie Folks if you don't mind my question. I'm still learning and haven't heard that one yet. If it's from the Cheech and Chong movie Dennise mentioned, It's been a long time since I've seen it;

Hang in there Smokey. As Canna says take care of yourself first. Then we get to read the post about how you conquered the infection and are feeling better! Congrats on the amnesia those are some sweet buds. Take care of yourself and take it easy!

Thanks Canna, Hopefully my heart is O.K., They did an test on it because it dropped down into the 30's and 40's and I have to wait for the results. I also have a precancerous condition called Barret's esophagus. I have to wait and see because it can take years to see if it's cancerous, I also have C. Diff which is an infection of the body and taking ultra strong antibiotics for it. It may take a while to get rid of it because some people either have it for a long time or never get rid of it. Thanks for the post, It made me feel better.

Thanks for the post Shiggity, It made me feel better too. It will take a while for the weed to dry, but I can't wait to see the dried weight. The Amnesia is in 3 boxes and 1 bag to dry and that's more than 2 of the older plants combined! As far as my health, I tried to explain all that's going on in my last post but I'm trying to keep a positive outlook about all of it.

I forgot to mention that my Blood Pressure is responding to the new meds, in fact I had to stop taking one of the 3 meds because it dropped my B/P extremely low and I was totally out of it. I'm feeling much better as far as my blood pressure goes now and I'm taking my B/P constantly now to make sure it doesn't rise again. Also, I plan on making my new posts about my plants again and not bothering you all with my medical problems any more.
You do not bother us ( I hope I speak for everyone here) with your "medical problems" posts. This is how we get to know each other, and conversations take place that can be helpful to people who are suffering. I appreciate knowing about your medical issues, so I can keep that in mind when giving input as I can. And having people who care around you is always a great healing tool!
We care, so don't stop being open with your communication because you think it might be "bothersome". It is not!

You do not bother us ( I hope I speak for everyone here) with your "medical problems" posts. This is how we get to know each other, and conversations take place that can be helpful to people who are suffering. I appreciate knowing about your medical issues, so I can keep that in mind when giving input as I can. And having people who care around you is always a great healing tool!

You have so many people sending positive loving energy your way Smokey. Realize that when you hit the sack each night there are people that are surrounding you in warm healing energy. Their love will help you heal. You are just an amazing person to me and I thank you once again for your service in helping to rescue lives and homes. Not just anyone can be a fireman. Takes a special breed of person.

Thanks Jimmie, I just don't want to sound like someone who is always complaining about something. My health has been poor for a while, probably started around January (the bad back is much older) and I've only mentioned it when it really knocked the crap out of me. I'll keep checking in and posting about my plants when something happens, Taking pic's is a bit harder because I have to lift them out of the tent and the top of the bookcase because people don't can't see everything in the purplish light, and my son isn't always around to help so I end up doing it when he's at work or out. But thanks Jimmie, That's really good to hear.

Hey Smoke - when your clones are ready, do you put them straight into your PJ soil? I have two that are ready, one I just planted in PJ soil, the other is still in the cloner just in case this soil is too "hot" for a new clone.
I've been using potting mix, but now I'm battling pests (which probably came with the mix) and the clones that I have aren't growing well.
