I cleaned the scissors in the sink and it washed away, I didn't know that was supposed to be saved. I didn't know what to do with it. But the Amnesia is up next since it is 60 days in flower today. (now I just have to find out how long that strain takes to be done) Should I keep the scissor hash? I've never smoked hash before intentionally, just what builds up in the pipe I use. Sorry I didn't know what to do with it.

I'll let others tell you how to smoke it and what they do with it.

Is it when the plants are 21-25 days old and again when they are 45 days old or is it the amount of days in flower?

My favorite part was where Shig said that everyone has their own style and try it both ways and see what works. I just like experimenting though... so I say experiment, Smoke!. :thumb::circle-of-love:

That's the plan Jimmie, I'm going to experiment on the girls in veg differently on each one and see what gives the best results. But the first 4 plants I harvested were defoliated heavily and really produced a lot of buds.
 
OK, I got pic's of the 4 girls and 1 in cloner bucket during veg. I could lift those without any problems. The first one is the WWxMK. So here they are:

Hopefully I will get pic's of the girls in flower soon. I need to pop some seeds, but I'm still having problems with germination. I tried 2 more seeds and never got a taproot. I had 1 bag seed, I'm trying that one now as a test to figure out what's going on. I've changed containers, bottle (to crack the seed), tried using water that has sat out overnight as well as trying straight tap water. I don't want to try any of the indica's that the seed fairy brought until I have germinating working on most seeds.

Sounds Great! I even was able to partially dry a small amount of the Truthband harvest from a few days ago. I used salt as a desiccant (I'm experimenting) by cutting up a old, clean pair of my wife's panty hose (I saw them because she was going to throw them away and I asked her if I could have the leg parts of it), filling half of the foot portion with the salt and tying it off. It holds the salt fine as long as you don't squish it a lot. I checked it again this morning and it is dry enough to let it dry the rest of the way normally in a couple days I think. I also got a new pipe from my son, It's a hand carved cherry wood pipe of Link from Zelda the game (when he was a kid, Him and I would spend hours playing that game.... He loved it so much!). It smokes beautifully and the cherry wood even adds a hint of sweetness to the smoke. Here are 2 pics, The first is of the Truthband I've been able to partially dry already and should be done by the fourth and the 2nd pic is of the pipe, It's beautifully crafted and is the exact same size as a mason jar.

In the pic, The jar looks almost full, but it's only halfway full and the buds just settled like that when I laid it down to take the pic. That's why the buds aren't pressed up against the side of the jar.

Smokey I wish I could share smoking with my Dad! That's a beautiful bowl, I love it. Has the herb been helping with your back?

I can't believe how much it helps! When I smoke I either don't take or cut way back (to avoid withdrawal) on the narcotics. It helps me more than I could have hoped. The first plant I harvested (Harley) was awesome, but the other 2 plants that were also bag seed didn't do much, but since I harvested the Truthband. (and smoked the test buds) it's like night and day. The pain subsides to a pain I can handle without making my legs, neck and back causing me to be on the verge of tears.

And smoking with my son (He's 31 years old) is great. We smoke enough to feel my pain loosen up and make my son comfortable and then sit and talk forever! We are very close. Thanks for letting me know about the smokathon! I'll be popping in on the fourth unless my wife made plans I don't know about yet.
 
Smokey at one point in time I fell down some icy metal stairs and my back was wrecked by the cement step at the bottom. I laid there a half an hour in the icy rain. It took me forever to get up and I failed out of school that semester because I couldn't walk for a month. My pain Meds they prescribed did nothing. But my cannabis not only helped my back, it would help it relax too. Strong medicine and I am sooooo glad it is working!

Those are the dates for defol in veg.... I also defol in flower at day but to be honest... I usually just pinch them off as they get in my way... Theree is a specific day I was taught to do it but I can't remember what day it is cause like I said I just pinch them off as they grow over bud sites...:circle-of-love:

The Amnesia is loaded with trich's now also. When I post the pics later, I'll do a close up of a bud on the Amnesia. I think it has even more trichs that the truthband!

In the future Honey do not wash that scissor hash down the drain...:thedoubletake: That is about the best couple of hits you will ever do.... I've had it so good it has made me puke... Not a good reference I know but none the less.... The next time you harvest try rolling the sticky off you fingers and scissors and let it roll up in a ball and hit it like hash... You'll be glad you did....:high-five:....:circle-of-love:

I understand completely! I was so surprised the first time I tried it (first bag seed plant- Harley that was strong) for my back pain, plus the other smaller misc. pains I have from previous injuries that I got when I was still working at the FD. But herb helps sooo much! I can't wait until I have enough in reserve to move ahead with the plan to ween myself off the narcotics.

I'm trying to cut back on my smoking for now to build up a reserve, and for when I have the timing of the perpetual worked out for sure. But to me, herb is a wonder drug, that so far has helped all my problems except hypertension. It really keeps the P.T.S.D. and anxiety in check so far too. I can finally see the light at the end of the narc tunnel and am looking forward to the day I can virtually quit them (My Doc has already said he is going to want to keep me on one narcotic for flare ups in the pain). The only other thing I have to wait for is to save enough to get my medical marijuana card so in case we have to call the ambulance again, I have a legal reason to explain the odor to any police that show up with the ambulance. Were just having a rough time saving right now as they raised our property taxes, increasing our mortgage.

Thanks D., I didn't know about the scissors hash being good until yesterday when Canna asked what I did with the scissor hash and advised me to save it, and now that youve explained how to remove it from the scissors and smoke that, I won't make that mistake again! I will do some defol on the NYPD of fan leaves that block the light from getting lower into the plant. :thanks:

Good morning back.

I roll my scissor hash into little balls and play santa by dropping them into the kief catcher of someone's grinder without their knowledge. When they discover it later, it's a ball coated with kief - a pleasant surprise for them. If the ball gets big enough to be pea sized I press it flat in a coin shape and place it in someone's kief catcher :)
