OK, It was in for 80 minutes at 170 (lowest the oven goes) degrees and the oven door cracked open the whole time. I may have to do it again tomorrow because it is still a little damp, But here's one of the pic's you asked for Jimmie, This is the bud mostly dried out. Sorry again that I forgot to take a pic before I dried it
I didn't use a large bud, just one big enough to let me have some for tomorrow to celebrate 4/20.
You've got homegrown bud !

Just realized how big that really is! From a seed to being capable of actually using it. Wow! I'm going to smoke a little bit tonight. I can't wait until tomorrow, I'm celebrating a little early!!!

A couple hours ago I snipped off a test bud of my first ever grow and dried it out in the oven because it was the quickest way to do so because I forgot to cure it days a go. Lit my pipe and inhaled deeply pulling in that delicious smoke and 5 minutes later I was stoned! Ho0me grown weed!!!!! That is so cool!, First thing I've ever grown even. I still have a lot to learn, but I have actually smoked weed that I grew from a seed! Just blows me away!!!

I just wanted to let you guys know, The Truthband has been moved into the flower tent like PJ suggested, after I took a snipping and that is in the clone bucket. Hopefully it will grow roots as well as the Amnesia did. The clone bucket then replaced where the Truthband had been in the bottom of the bookcase. I did everything identical to the Amnesia, from slicing the stem diagonally with a scalpel and dipped in the clone gel and added the little amounts of nutrients to the water. I'm hoping for a repeat of the Amnesia and hope it looks this good:

Smoking my own that I had grown from a seed from the stuff I've learned here is just way too cool! And sharing it with you guys only made it better! Your right, I have stopped worrying that something was wrong with the weed and I wouldn't be able to start cutting back on my narcs or trying to make CCO for my wife. I'll cut another test bud as soon as I post this, I do have 2 plants that look different, This time I'll try Casey and she how she is, Harley is a solid hitting weed. Because I dried it in the oven, The flavor was mostly gone, but wow! she hit me hard after my 2nd hit. I was just going to try a little bit and see what she did for my back and it knocked me on my butt. I was so surprised. I can see me just having to take only 1 hit to help my medical problems.
And yes, the small tent will be in the big tent to partition off the sides of light cycles along with heavy black plastic in any place that light leaks. The doors on the small tent will be open towards the veg side, so in the small tent I will be vegging along with the big tent. This will leave about 4' x 4' for flower and 4' x 4' for veg inside one tent. Sorry if I wasn't clear on what I'm doing in the one tent.

I left the same nutrient solution in the bucket for several weeks. Added water 4-5 times. That might be too long, but I don't believe you need to replace the water and solution every time.
Smokey, you obviously have a vision for what you're going to do with the big tent and I'll understand what you're up to when I see it. I'm just a worry wart. I wonder if that giant 8x4 tent isn't a trap... That's pretty big.
I wonder if you wouldn't have been better off holding out for a bit. Sure the stealth on the bookcase isn't great... But.
After paying for the shipping on the giant tent and purchasing that mammoth T-5 unit you spent half the money it would have taken to get a 4x4 tent for flowering and a second 144x5w light to go in the 4x4. Heck, I bet we could have rounded you up a used 4x4 around here for the cost of shipping.
Then, you would have had 2 144x5w lights in the 4x4 which is a bomber rig, and you could veg in the 2x4 with the Mars 300 and cfls.
Never mind me, I have anxiety issues and they've been bad lately.
I'm sure when I see what you have in mind it'll make sense.
Most excellent that the sample was good. It still has a way to go and is going to get much better. I'm estimating you'll get a bout 3 oz of buds off of Casey and Harley plus fixings for a bunch of edibles of whatever. A couple of weeks after that you'll pull Minnie and a then a month or so later Truthband.
This represents a staggering amount of medication compared to what you've tried so far.

Been a while since ive been online Smokey. But everything looks great, i also tested a bud for 4-20 haha. Hope all is well, ive been lacking on updates on my journal this round. But i did manage to get some decent close ups of my trics roughly 2-3 weeks away from harvest. There through a 60-100x loupe, i posted the most clear and detailed photos i took. Out of of like 100 pictures total. Check them out when you have time, they should give you a good idea about them later in flower. There 50-60% cloudy with a little clear and amber showing. Im shooting for 50/50 cloudy/amber @ harvest. Ill keep updates as i go. And good luck on your 2 girls that's coming along.

Canna, I'm so sorry I missed your post yesterday, I've just been busy yesterday and today and haven't been on the computer much since last night, But the bud definitely worked to help with the pain, anxiety and depression! I have to learn not to smoke as much weed as how much I've always smoked with the small amount I get each month. This stuff knocked me on my butt. I think I'll be able to quit the narcotics with out a problem with this stuff! Now I just have to get off my butt and go out and get my card (It's just going to be such a huge amount of things to get done starting with getting my ID changed so it shows my current address, down to getting diagnosed with severe Fybromyalgia) so my doctor will go along with me and help me start cutting back the dosage of my meds until I can quit. I have cut back on my narc's now when I smoked but at some point will need my doctor to start cutting the actual dosage back. I just want to be 100% sure on the amount of weed I'll be getting constantly when we have the timing down. I will need your help also once I have harvested and cured to make the CCO for the wife if you don't mind.
I'm glad you grew dank weed
If the doctor keeps the opiod prescription larger, and you refill less frequently, that means a lower co-pay and less trips to the pharmacy. No hurry on that !

I had never even considered it being a trap with the tent, The person I emailed back and forth with about it just said it was a used tent that is in good shape and when he/she (only emailed, don't know the gender) asked me how I got hurt because when I emailed them to ask about the condition of the tent I just mentioned I wanted to grow tomatoes indoors because I'm disabled and he/she then offered to just let me have it after they asked how I got hurt.
I've never received a single thing from anyone since I've been hurt until this year and then between some folks helping me from here to the tent (if it's not a trap) to a guy I have to call today that read about me on the internet (can't go into details, or it would be saying way too much) is offering to help me get a van with a lift for my wheelchair, I can't believe how good people have treated me lately (and I'm not used to it). I didn't want to even mention to people here what I was doing before I did it, because you guys are way too nice to me. I was worried that somebody would have ended up just buying the stuff for me and I want to get away from that. I hate being a burden on you guys and don't want to do that anymore. The tent is here and ready, but maybe I'll wait a little while like you suggested to make sure no one is trying anything. Although if someone is setting me up I'm screwed if the police were to see my grow. Enough of that for now.
I'll check out that page you bookmarked and take a look at that Truthband. I've got to call that guy about the wheelchair and van, I'll be back on later. I still can't believe how many people are willing to help me out this year. I feel really guilty about everyone who has helped me out so far and don't know if I can do it again. I feel horrible about this guy offering the wheelchair and a van and think if it involves him paying for anything I'm going to just tell him to sell the lift (that's how it started, he offered me a lift for free if I had a van to put it in, I sincerely thanked him and told him to just sell the lift because I don't have (or see one in my near future) a van. I thought that was the end of it until I found an email from him this morning asking me to call him to see if he can work something out for me. I feel terrible about getting stuff from people who need their money too, I know how hard it is financially right now.
