Boy those plants are looking great pal!
Get them in bigger pots asap. Keep in mind that a plant always needs to keep equal size between above and below ground growth. If you wait till budding to transsplant then they will spend their first feww weeeks in flower trying to build its root system instead of focusing that time on bud development. Transplant into your final stage pots and a week later put into flower.

Although your girls look awesome, I would agree with Stilletto about transplanting them. You will have a much better yield in bigger pots. :cheertwo:

Thanks brother, :) Might be able to get em into the bigger pots tuesday or so. But the plants are already into budding for a couple days now so i dont know if getting em switched a week into flowering or letting em ride out in the buckets they have is the best avenue. What do you guys think?

What's the volume of the containers you have them in? Personally, and this is just me, I would transplant but I'm sure with a lot of TLC, they will give you some very nice smoke in these containers as well.

Transplant them imo. You will require at minimum 1 gallon for each foot of expected height.
So if they are 2' now you will need 4 gallonn post.
The reason: As the plant begins to shoot up in early budding the roots will try to expand as well... then they will get bound up... at about 4-5 weeks into harvest the plants will run into big trouble... the roots will essentially stop working and the whole plant will likely lock up.

The volume of the containers is 3/4 of a gallon. :) I know your probably thinking i'm nuts but i grew 3 and a half footers in these pots previously and got over three Quarters a plant after only flowering 5 weeks. This time i plan to flower 9-11 and i hope that will help em get heavier to about 2 ounces a piece. Honestly we will probably let em ride out in these containers but i will do a test. I have left over dirt from the last transplant,so i will use this to transplant 1 or 2 plants tomorrow into my 2 1/2 gallon buckets and we will see if these out perform the ones in the 3/4 gallon in the end and by how much. Probably only have enough supplies on hand to transplant 1 or 2 but it will be interesting. :ganjamon:

Thanks my friend. I have enough on hand for a couple transplants and may try to get more supplies tuesday or so to transplant some more. Next grow i will be more prepared for transplanting and i will have less plants. Hope this one at least gets me enough to smile about. I cant smoke the shwag much longer bro. in these pots at 3 1/2 feet tall with 9-11 weeks to flower , how much would i be able to salvage?

Well, transplant what you can and if you do run a side by side test please post the results.
I saw that you said you grew large plants in small containers before.... all I can say is this (not as a critisism but to help others).... A plant is like an engine, and the roots are the fuel lines, and the soil/nutes are the fuel; with smaller fuel lines the engine can only produce so much horsepower, eventually your demands exceed the fuel supply and the engine stalls and dies. Just my 2 cents.

I dunno Stilletto I've seen some huge plants grown in very small containers, like 2 liters. It's all about getting the plants the water and nutes they need.

I'd personally feel better if they were mine and in larger containers because it would be less maintenance. You'll have to water and feed more often in the smaller containers.

@PetFlora 2 weeks is about when you'll be seeing pistils so you're not really far behind but rh that high is very dangerous, you're inviting mold and pm.

If at all possible get it down to 55 max. Check out Bandit420's thread, he's found a cheap $20 dehumidifier/odor controller that apparently works.

THC keep on rockin it, the plants look amazingly healthy. You're biggest problem is going to be how big they're about to get. :tokin:

It is at this stage when new roots develop at the base of the stem called pompoms, because that is what they look like. Their function is to feed the buds. On a 2 ft plant you could have a grapefruit size pompom- if there is enough space in the grow pot. Yield will definitely suffer in too small a pot.

Thanks stilletto, I will definately do a comparison during and at the final weigh in and learn from this. I plan to go see what i can get together for supplies today and transplant as many as i can afford too today. Not sure that's gonna be many but i will do what is possible with the low funds i have available. Thinkin if i can get a large bail of spagnum moss for under ten bucks like i did last year i can give them a majority of that with a sprinkle of the rest and see how many we can get done today. I will let you know the progress later today. :thankyou:

Thanks Blue, I would feel better if they were in larger buckets also. I havent been able to work much recently due to back pain and not being able to sleep well. (sure you feel me brother) So funds have been low because of this. I will try to turn into a thrifty macgyver today and get at least some of the job done sir. :yummy:

Thanks flora i appreciate everyones help and advice. will try to post a couple transplant pictures afterwards to relieve everyone's concern. :thankyou:

I am happy to tell all of my friends at :420: That i was able to get 17 out of 19 plants transplanted today. I used mostly canadian sphagnum moss, a little sheet moss, a little perlite, and a little potting soil. took me hours to transplant and i'm beat. ( back killing me ) Still have a smile on the old face though after getting all but 2 done. The unlucky two that didnt get upgraded are: 1 AK-48, and 1 N.Y.P.D. I know they are gonna have to spend some of the beginning of their budding time adjusting to the larger pots but i hope they multitask well :) Other than that along my perilous transplanting adventures today i was able to snap a few pictures for your enjoyment. So enjoy! :blunt:

This is what the roots looked like on the side walls of the pots
