Perhaps you misunderstood my suggestion. Tape it when you're done, not hang it.What about a bottoming?? Kind of like topping only on the other end. Then tape it back together and see how it holds up? That should provide any needed additional stress!
Everyone has their own way, @Kanno26, and if that works for you, then great.I have set 50% RH to sail there I have fans to rotate the air then I leave them for 3-4 days then I cut them and put them in the net to dry. Is that cool?
Sorry @Azimuth, so I didn't catch your proposal at all.Perhaps you misunderstood my suggestion. Tape it when you're done, not hang it.
Seriously, Kanno, CONGRATULATIONS! Very well done, and you have the goods to prove it. Quite remarkable from where I sit.
Thanks for your tip @Jon, if it works for your master, then it can work for me too. I usually had it done in 5 days but I could try it.Everyone has their own way, @Kanno26, and if that works for you, then great.
Personally, I would set the RH higher. Your target RH in the buds when they stabilize in the jar is 62%. So to have the RH at 50% during the dry might take too much moisture from them too quickly and force a quicker dry. I like my dry to take as long as humanly possible, as I've found the longer the dry, the better the end result. I set my dry area as close to 60-65% RH and 62-68 degrees. This will usually give me 8 days at least for the dry, 10 is awesome. Then when I trim and jar them, they are very close to the final 62% target and dialing them in and stabilizing them there is a piece of cake.
Again, everyone does this their own way, I am by no means saying my way is best, just that it works for me. I got my numbers from Yoda in Oregon. They're what he uses, and his weed is the best dried and cured weed I have ever smoked or touched.
For what it's worth!
Ha. Do what you're comfortable with @Kanno26, it'll all work out regardless I'm sure. But I do believe you will see the benefit of letting the dry take longer if you choose to go this route. Thanks for your tip @Jon, if it works for your master, then it can work for me too. I usually had it done in 5 days but I could try it.
Maybe next time then...Sorry @Azimuth, so I didn't catch your proposal at all.
Otherwise, now I have 22 degrees and 58% Rh in the tent, so that should be fine what you think @Jon.
Kanno, don't smoke it all in one place!
Lovely Harvest!
Very well done.Hi everyone, so today I finally hung my critical plants and trimmed them a bit, but I will still have enough work in a few days, here are some photos.
I've cut this from them so far, and here's the root ball.
Thanks to everyone for stopping by.
Great job, Kanno! I like the way you've hung them up whole!Hi everyone, so today I finally hung my critical plants and trimmed them a bit, but I will still have enough work in a few days, here are some photos.

Wow what a harvest. They aren't nearly as smaller as I thought they'd be after four days. That's a tribute to the density of the buds you were able to produce. Superior work @Kanno26, for anyone on any level. Can't wait to see your yield numbers!! And how were the tester buds? Smoke any yet?Hi everyone, I will add that you have a nice Sunday. Today is the fourth day I have hung my critical plants temperature of 20 degrees Celsius and humidity of 55%. And that's what they look like on the day.
Thanks to everyone for stopping by.
