My First Grow Journal

Looks good man. My first plant was Aurora indica. I beat the heck outta that poor plant.
Lol that's sour diesel and I've almost killed it twice but think I got 2 super clones off her. The clones are starting show roots I hope they take it is a really strong strain. If it can survive everything I have done to it

So does it work good for you
I'm not trying to be negative Nancy. But it produces a lot of heat. Definitely, you will see a better yield compared to your last lights. Best part is you can always have it in your rotation for Veg. Not a bad light but for the money next time look at @Budget LED . Imo , for the money and quality. One of the best!

Ok and I'm going to can I use it in flower or should I use hps

Nice light upgrade but as @Sparkey224 said, there are better options out there for next time.
I always find it best to ask for options before making a purchase to get the best info possible before spending $$'s.
An @Budget LED Quantum Board would have served you better with improved spectrum and a very cool running light.
You have good ventilation, so you should be good!

That Diesel looks good and is flowering nicely! A bit thin and stalky but for a first go, not bad at all!!
And she looks to be producing some good looking buds!

Do you have good air circulation inside your tents?
A fan or two to keep the air moving will toughen up your stems and make them thinker and hardier, just like in nature.

The way I have set up my room is that my oscillating fan also blows directly on my Quantum board keeping it very cool all the time. I also have a fan on the LED driver to keep it nice and cool and not cook the electronics, also located outside the grow room to remove the heat it produces.

Good job on taking clones and getting them to grow roots! Very cool!

Look up some of the growers
600w it what I got my big girl under right now
Hell yeah bro, stick with the HPS for now bro. I miss my old 600watt. Took alot to cool it down, but always pulled down great weed under that street lamp..lol

Thanks I have a 10' blowing down on it a nd a 6" fan blowing on it. My babies will be thicker learned alot since I started those but still dont know anything. I believe I have great air flow but really don't know my grow is the only 1 I have seen on really life. Seen lots of video but it's not the same

Thanks I can keep it at 27.5°c with that fan set up I have that's why I say I think I have good airflow if I can keep that hot thing cool

Thanks @lazylathe & @Sparkey224 for the mention. Much appreciated.

@Fastass419 if you consider additional lighting down the line, let us know. You will not be disappointed.

I was going to put in 5 gallon pots today but didn't think I had enough roots. They needed water so I put some root enhancer in the water I'll put a picture of it but I think they are doing good just showing signs of being a little cold so I raised the temperature to 80°. Hope that fixes the problem

That's the goods bro. Here is a plant that was raised on Rapidstart...

I noticed your growing King Tut. I tried that a little while back. It's an easy plant to grow. All the seeds did what they were supposed to. It sativa dominant, but grows like an indica. No issues with nutes, I dont usually push it. The high is strong, but not melt your brain strong... some pictures.

I hope you do well! You have a great atrain... fingers crossed!

I'm an LED guy, but I wanted to try HPS so I bought a double ended 1100 watt (max) HPS just to see if I'd like it... I hate it. Save your money for good LEDs. Multivortex bought from Budget and LOVES them. I think I would take a hard look at HLG, they are a little more, depending on what you're after, but that's me. If you're handy look at the kits

Thanks those pics are beautiful and I hope my king tut grows up and looks like that . Everyone is telling me dont use that rapid start because of the dirt I use. I grow in coast of main everything I need is in there just water with ph water

Yes that hps cost me $60 a month in electric and had to go from a 4" exhaust to a 6" exhaust. My only problem with my led is I didn't do the research and bought old technology

It's up to you. Looks like your soil has the fungus aspect covered, the soil looks amazing actially, but Rapidstart is more of an extract/amino acid additive. It's pretty tame. talk to those giving advice.

I will always use this, or House and Gardens Root Excelerator. The gold can for soil, silver for hydro. But H&G is nose bleed expensive.

Sorry man. I thought you were saying you were gonna buy an HPS. If you have one already then use it for sure. You will up the brightness and have the appropriate spectrum for flower. HPS works. There is no lie, but I guess I'm a LED boy at heart. Damn dude, between your set up and your wide selection of lights, your rollin!
