Looks good. It looks like lowering them much more would mess up your footprint. Once these plants get larger you may see the outer leaves arent getting great lighting. This is the way it goes in pot farming... to curb this issue I SCROG all my plants. BUT you can just turn your plants every couple days. Here is a couple pics of room had other 2 lights just thought I would use them to. I did pull the little one away a little from the big light
Lights are lights. I wouldnt go any higher than 24 inches if they need to be far away. Im using a 700watt double ended HPS and they are less than 24 inches. Qboards are no different. If they are too far away they lose brightness just like any other light, and the plants grow tall and leggy. Node separation gets thrashed. If they dont get appropriate light they dont eat well. I would think you would want to turn your lights up in flower. As for burning plants, I would offer that you should raise them maybe 6 or 8 inches.@Stltoed @PCaddict @Fastass419
Your babies look awesome bro!!! A VAST difference from a few pages back! Well done!!
Chatting about QB's quick...
@PCaddict has his lights right at the top of the tent. QB's belong HIGH, there is no need to lower and raise them.
Simply hang at the top of your tent and adjust the wattage draw to suit the growth period.
My 1st QB grow I messed with low lights and then raised them as the girls grew and found a lot of them were not happy.
I was actually turning the light down during flower to keep them happy...
So now ih hangs 8 feet above the girls and at present it is running at 480 Watts and everyone is very happy!
Here is mine, you can see the beams for the basement ceiling....
There is about a 5 foot gap between the plants and the lights.
I am using a Chinese Meiju QB that cost under $500 USD delivered to my door.
The boards and LED's are exactly the same as the HLG boards V2.
The newer boards with red spectrum look interesting as well!
@Fastass419 Just adding water is what you want! It's easy to over fertilize and burn your plants.
I am going this route and love just watching them grow with very little input from myself.
Yeah. You have a point. I really dont know the product. I'll defer to our friends that are saying dont feed... except for RapidstartThe problem is my dirt has everything in it and if I start adding stuff it's going to be to much. I'm using COAST OF MAIN its really good dirt and dont really need to do anything but water them.
If you look back I think page 1 I put them in 5 gallon pots that was Thursday night around 7pm eastern standard time then the pic I posted this morning were taken at 4:30 this morning look at the red label one it kush 35 I just cant believe the differenceYeah. It takes a few weeks sometimes to get to California. I had seeds intercepted once by the government. It's no big deal. They give you the size zero teeshirt or beany that the seeds were hidden in and leave a note,... below. Nothing stated about breaking the law or not to do it again. Seedsman gave me my money back and that was that.I really can't wait for my seeds to get here. I order them from @seedman.com. I order them a week ago and still waiting on a tracking number. I will cant wait getting girl scout cookies, free white widow, and a couple other free ones. As any order from them and if so how long did it take you to get your seeds
Thank You I Love my lights. I am new so I don't have any real experience to say other wise but I know Duggan gets GREAT results with his methods of growing and he has always had his lights at the top of his grow space. I really like having mine there. It makes it So Much easier to do things in the tent. Anyway he is mentoring me and teaching me so I will do it his way for the next few grows. I have just flipped to flower but they are doing great so far.@Stltoed @PCaddict @Fastass419

I have gotten 6 shipments from Seedsman they have taken 3 to 4 weeks from the time I ordered. I live in Ohio so not sure if that matters. Once you get a tracking notification it only takes 3 or 4 days and they are delivered. They ship from over seas to a warehouse in the USA then you get a tracking number for USPS so how ever long it takes to get from the warehouse to you
Hell ya that's great I came home from my honeymoon from Mexico and by bother left 4 clones in my house and said have fun. So my feet was thrown into the fire. I'm so glad now I've learned alot but still don't know anything. I dont know if my lights are to close I was just trying to get max light and not starch the plant. Like I said I'm just trying to do what I think is right but dont knowThank You I Love my lights. Thanks I live in MICHIGAN so we should be pretty close to the same time in shippingI have gotten 6 shipments from Seedsman they have taken 3 to 4 weeks from the time I ordered. I would hate to wait and then still not get them but I do understand. There is nothing they can do.It takes a few weeks sometimes to get to California. I had seeds intercepted once by the government. They are Great. I had some bad seeds I bought from them, it wasn't breed by them it was from Garden of Green which they carry. So I ordered a pack of 5 and got 3 of the same strain free. Because I only had one of the eight germinate they gave me my choice of about 8 different strains to choose from. They replaced the 5 pack + 3 free with two five packs. I was really happy to get two five packs to replace the ones that didn't germinate. Great costumer service they didn't drag their feet about it either, one email and they got back to me with in three days. I will buy from Seedsman anytime I am looking for seeds and they have what I want.If there is an issue they usually wont do anything about it till 30 days after shipping. But they are very good about making it right
It may not be their fault. Things coming into the country need to go through customs. The USDA doesnt even seem to care about growing marijuana, they want to make sure things like Kudzu or pathogens that can mess up our crops. People have to go through customs also. No big deal.I would hate to wait and then still not get them but I do understand. There is nothing they can do.
