So my post before this one was removed by admin anyways but as I said I cant show my grow room or my crop because I am using equipment from a banned sponsor while in no way trying to promote them just giving the facts of what is going in the room. I did get a little nasty when I replied in private to 420 girl and for this I apologize in Public I was out of line but I feel that if I just do my grow list my equipment what does it matter where I spent my money. anyways this will be deleted but I did send a copy of the message I quoted from 420 girl saying I cannot in her words discuss, run a journal if it showcases said product , and correct me if I am wrong when building a room the main 2 things want to know what grow system what light , am I supposed to not answer truthfully . And just for the record I was a long time HiD grower and just want to show what I do with whatever equipment I use to prove the old saying a poor workman always blames his tools.

Thanks for the links. Those are pretty nice cameras. A little more $$ than I wanted to spend right now, but you've got me realizing I shouldn't rush into buying a camera. I may very well end up with those same cameras! I always assumed I had to get a computer down there for them to connect to, or get a wire run to my office (directly above flowering room 1). You've helped me realize webcams have come a long way. Now I'd like to have cameras that use wifi and just needs power. Maybe you configure them through USB first? I dunno, but reading the site you linked made me realize I need to study up a little to be an educated consumer. :)

yeah you link them to your router with a either net cable to set them up then they use wifi to comunicate with your computer , just have to plug them in. those cameras have alot of features , night vision, pan tilt, preset positions , motion detect, two way audio. for less than a hundered bucks a piece i think there worth it. software cost me fifty bucks but it to has alot of features. like when ever motion trips a camera not only does it record , it also sends the clip to my icloud account. so if they steal my computer i still have the footage.

looking simply awesome ronnie!

great using the ip cams like that! ive used cams in the past.. many years ago a good friend and i looked at the logistics of setting up a house remotely( we never did in the end but it was fascinating stuff!)... we had this kit that could link upto a cellphone and any ole computer system(hooked up online of course) or notebook... and could control upto 8 devices remotely i.e. fans, ac, cams, lights, dog barking cd's (;]), external lights etc- with feedback sent to your phone on temps, humidity etc. we were looking at something very similar to what orchardists use with their wind turbines- same tech. with a cam you have that added piece of mind too- esp with those added features like night vision and motion detect! excellent use of tech to support your grow mate :cheesygrinsmiley:

look forward to seeing chunky colas very soon :D

That sounds sweet! I could use a few of them. Security cameras are one of the "signs" LEO uses to indicate a house with a grow op though. When I was getting my utility trailer licensed, they had a bunch of brochures from the State Troopers. One of them was about how to spot illegal grow ops. One of the items they list to look out for is a surveillance system. That just means I need to make sure it's well hidden is all, but something to keep in mind. I hung the brochure up in my basement as a reminder to maintain stealth at all times.

Anyway, I do like those cameras. +rep if it lets me.

in the end it is all about piece of mind , when you put all the time and money that we do into these setups you want to protect them.

those cameras are hard to spot from a distance, they are indoor cameras but like i said i use them outdoors under the eves of the house and they blend into the shadows good.also i live in so cal where everyone with even a little money has security systems.

had to supercrop more tips today still stretching i hope they stop soon, nothing is slowing them down especially now with the extra cal mag. well the heavy 16 pfn is suppose to help with stress so i guess this is proof it works. i lollypoped the sit out of them and didnt even slow them down. i'm supercropping closer to the tip now because i noticed the first ones i did have stood up and are taller now then they were. well they are closer than 18 inches which is my minimum height , the tops are probably getting about 1500 umol/s. but then you see videos from guys like seymore buds where the plants are like 6 inches away from high power leds.
