Vicks using hps bro, he wont need as much cal/mag as you. You only need to add it if you start seeing a defficiency. If you do add it according to the manufacturers recomendations

thanks jon, i've been seeing signs of def for a couple of weeks but todays res change i went with the manufactures recommendation of 5ml gal so i'll stick with that for now and see how they like it.
Vicks using hps bro, he wont need as much cal/mag as you. You only need to add it if you start seeing a defficiency. If you do add it according to the manufacturers recomendations

But that's in 75% Coco 25% perl.

ppms has been rising looks like i'm going to have to dial them back to 900
ph 5.7
well my ds 200 lost two outside rows of leds, the light is still under warrenty so i will report my experience to all of you with dealing with this issuse with Advanced Leds.
decided to dial back my temps. their drinking more water than eating and i want to get the res dialed back in. i added three gals of water today to bring ppms down. added small fan to help remove heat around lights , ive been monitoring the temp at the top of the closet and so far hasnt gone over 95f now that i dialed back the temps its at 89f
did my first supercroping today , did three of the taller tips.

Have a question for you are you needing to vent the grow area at all to keep temps under 84 f ,I ask as I am building a much larger grow area but will be using 880w of leds in a room of around 500 cubic feet a 6 x 6 x 8 grow room with a 4 x 3 equipment space to keep things neat and a small 3 x 4 x 5 area for mothers and cloning .
So altogether a lot of space . So some info on what kind of temps you are maintain with or without venting would be awesome.
Ive been stocking these forums for awhile now reading and soaking up all the good info i can. just did a major set up upgrade and desided to do my first journal, happy to have a community of experenced growers to lend me their insight
grow area /closet: 2x41/2x71/2
system/ modified rainforest 66, recirculating with controller/back up res, 20w air pump air stones in back up res and unit sump, 1/10 hp water chiller to be added in month
lighting/ 1 advandced led ds 350XML, 1 advandced led ds 200, 1 advanced led ds 100 total 615 acutal watts
nutrients/ advandced nutrients ph perfect sensi two part, calimagic, b52, big bud , overdrive , bud candy , bud ignitor, bud factor x, nirvana, sensizym, dyna gro protekt silicon, orca beneificals, mosquito dunks (bti) fungas gnats) ,rapid start
water/ hydrogardener pro remineralizing ro filtration system, remineralization cal/mag 15-30 ppm ph 6.8
co2 enrichment/ tank system on timer adjusted to mantain 1000-1200ppm during light cycles
pre-veg/ clone/ dry area: secret jardin dr90
circulation/ 48" negitive ion generator tower fan, true hepa air cleaner with uvc and carbon filter, 3 small fans
dehumidifaction/ ideal air 50 pint dehumidifer
screen/ not completed but will be 24" x 54" and cover inside closet and will be set at approx 16" above rainforest unit which will leave approx 3' of grow area above screen
system is currently runing with strong h2o2 treatment after that I will flush system twice with clean water
started germ friday night two OG#18 fem Reserva Privada in rapid rooter plugs in mini proporgator with orca benificals and rapid start root excelorator
this set up was designed using information gathered from this forum and other magazines and books

My closet is is in my bedroom. And the doors don't get closed all the way. I have a secret Hardin dr90 tent outside my closet so I can close one closet door against the tent to close off the closet. I have a air cleaner in between the closet door and the tent to cycle air into closet space. Now that my lights are up in the top of the closet I have a 250cfm fan and carbon filter in top of closet to remove heat from lights. I've actually had to use a small electric heat and a t- stat to get the closet up to 84f . Without the heater and with my ac on 74 the closet doesn't get above 80 at the canopy. So I do have an air intake (air cleaner) and exhaust to remove the heat in top of closet . Hope this helps

Yep helps tons as my actual grow room is along the lines of 450 cubic feet only using about half of it for growing so with co2 supplementation I should be able to achieve my goal of a sealed environment . so with charcoal filter ,ozone generator and 4 of those new figure 8 oscilating fans from advanced nutrients grow gear I should be able to keep temps under control and the smell only in the room.

The first pic is a bad angle but from left to right is 6' and 6' from the entrance to the first wall. Also as you noticed there is a sump in this room making life easy for getting rid of resevoirs , running my dehumidifier drain line directly to the sump and because the water is approx 8 feet below ground level I plan to run a coil of 25 feet of 1/2" polly around the circumfrance then using a 25gph pump run the nutrients in the res thru the coil of tube lying in the sump and back it should allow me to keep the res temp nice and cool. If it weren't for the fact I am using lights from a company that isn't so popular here , I don't know if I start journal using them and my room build , it might be seen as promoting . Personally I plan on comparing the nearly 1k of leds I bought vs what I could grow with a 1k hid.
Like my 2010 plant of the year.

Great pics, looks like you got a great area to work with. Love the plant what strain is she? My LEDs generate very little heat, if it wasn't for the fact the top of my closet forms a heat trap I wouldn't even have to run exhaust. Lots of people here have journals using lights not from sponsers, I know having this journal has gained me knowledge I could get no where else. Good luck with the new set up

thanks hiker, i have several of these ip cameras all around my house even outside. they are indoor cameras but i've had one outside under an eve and had no problems for over a year now. heres the link to the camera

i use blue iris software to record , send alets to my phone, etc.

its a little tricky getting it set up so you can view video away from the house but blue iris help section got me through it and i could help if you need it. i have preset positions for the camera in the closet and with a couple clicks i can see the plants and view temp , humidity, co2 levels just by moving the camera to see my meters.
i also get text message alets when the camera motion sensors are tripped

ph 5.7 and stable as a rock, i can add water, nutes straight to res and no change. rises one point every two to three days.
well the super cropped tips have already became u's and are upright again. had to do four more today and i have the feeling many more will have to be done.
i was worried about crushing and cutting on my plants when i first started these techniques but now i'm getting into it , plant s&m
when i supercroped today my fingers smelled like i was pealing oranges.
can tell their loving the extra cal mag tip burn is done and their greening up again.
sprayed heavy 16 pfn today cutting this back to twice a week now.
i talked to Advanced Led today and my parts are on there way. just a power supply , 20 min and it will be fixed no days waiting for shipping. they also told me any one interested in purchasing lights from them can get a 6% discount by mentioning this journal or my company hvac air command.
