Thank you so much for sharing this. I'm close to doing my first run on something similar and this thread has just been a joy to read over. You've given me a lot to think about. I am really digging the buckets on step stools. Cost effective and functional. I thought I had made up my mind as far as setup but now I'm not so sure. You've also made me realize I need to build a shelf for my mini AC.

If your scrog is 6x12 what is the floor space of the bloom room? How hard is it to tend?

Hi The Doctor:)Thanks man im glad you like the set-up.the room is roughly 10x17 so its easy enough to get around the room but defoiliating the canopy in the middle of the screen gets pretty hard on my back after an hr or so.I do alot of it from my back underneath the screen,its alot easier this way until they get to tall. Im thinking of getting one of those mecanic trolly things to role around under there:)I picked up those stools at a dollar store for 2 bucks each, Im a firm believer in "you get what you pay for" when it comes to equipment like lights and exaust fans.If you spend 300 bucks on a 300 watt led light chances are its a piece of shit lol but I do try to save as much as I can when it comes to everything else in there.I dont care how pretty my room is I care about how efective it is.Pull up a seat man its gonna get crazy in there soon:welcome:

Could not agree more with jon on this. Fans and lights etc, buy the best you can afford!

I am madly gettin my pics sorted for my journal. I just put two potential mums into flower today as they were not cutting the grade required. So at least i will have something in flower while my current round of clones get established :cheertwo:
i will be puttin up my journal in the next night or two Jon so keep a look out!

You can't buy a cheep led etc and expecting same yields like yours for example ...
And then complain like "led lights is piece of crap" ....

If you wanna do something, do it right ! Don't count the pennies ...
They will pay you back, by giving you the results you want ...

good morning everyone:) I did a round of defoliation last night and they are looking pretty good for the most part this morning.there is one hgk that isnt looking as good she has a minor def,im not sure what it is yet.the purple kush are gorgeous so I think the hgk is going to be a bit more finicky of a strain but im sure I ll figure it out.If anybody knows what that def is please let me know.

im annoyed!im trying to find a way to run the co2 and exaust properly without a controller.I dont need to know the ppm's in the room I just want the co2 to run for 15 min then nothing for half an hour and then vent for 15 min. Ive got it set up like that now but im using mecanical timers to do it so its not exact and I have to adjust it everyday.is there such a thing as a cycle timer with a digital clock on it?

the final weight for the exodus cheese was 60 oz.so 3.75 pds.Im not very happy with that but the timer issue definetly affected the yield alot.the plants were basically in shock for......im not even sure how long actually.at least 2-3 weeks anyways.It only gets better from here:)

yep I have several of these there arent enough daily funtions on them,I need 16 funtions.the co2 turns on once an hr and they are on 16/8 right now.

I dont know enough about sealed rooms to be 100% but I would say that yes that is a mistake.in a unsealed room you replace the co2 by venting the room often.in a sealed room you have to supply the co2,otherwise the air will go stale pretty quick.hope this helps:)

I run sealed room and yes big mistake to not have co2 running. Your plants will use up available co2 quickly and without giving them more using a bottle or burner or such, or fresh air if you use an air exchange grow room, then your plants will essentially starve as they cant produce energy from photosynthasis.
