My First Grow In 35 Years: Photo Clones To Be Picked Up On 8/18/2020

Picked up a Pure Pro Plus 4 stage Reverse Osmosis and everything is like beautiful :)
PH 6.3 & PPM 4, literally 4 so perfect to start my nutrient base schedule for when the babies come home.
Now let's get this party started tomorrow with an AC Infinity duct fan and humidity temperature controller!
Will also be adding a small humidifier for the clones so they can have nice high 65-70 relative humidity :)

Hi Far, and welcome to :420:
One of the good things about FFOF soil is you don't need to pH your nutes. The humus inside the bag buffers your water to the correct pH so don't worry too much about your pH numbers.
The RO system is great but it's removed all the calcium and mg from the water so you may need to have some calmag on hand to supplement those when the time comes. General Hydroponics Calimagic is a good brand to use if you're gonna go that route with only 1% N.
My AC Infinity I mount on the wall outside the tent and run the ducting inside. You could do the same with your filter which gives you more head space inside the tent too.

Another item to look at since you have the RH controller on the AC Inifinity is getting an Inkbird RH Controller. The Infinity controls both RH and Temp fan speeds and I found having a separate unit turning my Humidifier on/off worked well.
None of those are required and I wouldn't make any purchase until you understand or see what needs to be done as you go along, but those are some things that may make your grow life easier.

Good luck with your new venture!

So a friend of mine gave me this photo Indica Big Bud strain growing outdoors, the cops actually let me take one before he destroyed the rest. I need help this thing is too big for my tent and need some advice to bring it down to acceptable height for a 4x4x6.5 foot tent. Also the wind from last night just started to split the main stem as well, taped it back up and should be fine it was very very minor Need help to bring this thing lower, also should i keep her in a vegetative state or go bloom?

You may want to supercrop her.

You may want to supercrop her.
Actually topped her all off and just going to put her into flowering stage, so a switch to 12/12. He just wants it done so this has now pushed my own grow journal back quite considerably :(

As Mr S said supercropping is a excellent tool to use when in flower or anytime. to keep things from getting to tall.
Thank You very much Smokey I greatly appreciate all of everyone's help! Amazing is all I can say, great group to be a part of!

Installed the AC Infinity and ducting + control panel, everything was pretty stupid easy from my point of view. Starting tonight she goes on a flower cycle. RH is at about 50% and temps around 78 to 82 degrees Fahrenheit, hopefully these take of into a beast for budz :thumb: :yummy:

8-12-2020, three days into flowering and this thing is sucking up the nutrients very well considering she went from outdoors to indoors and flowering stage.. So what do you folks think about the color?

That lady looks nice I see like 10 possible colas and then the smaller stuff, should be a nice budding plant in a month. Color idk looks nice but I see no burn, I usually go till they start to burn a little just in the leaf tips then make the food weaker

Thanks I appreciate it, i am seeing zero burn anywhere to be honest? First 2 days half strength today was full strength with some recharge added as well!

8-13-2020, Day 4 of Flowering, colors are awesome and she is eating tons of nutrients and shes loving it!

Super cropped her and she looks ugly as all get up but appears to be fine. hopefully next couple days she will harden up and make the turn towards the light. opened up a bunch of potential bud sites?
My first time ever doing this, followed Mr Sauga's advice for snapping the stems and turning them down. Hopefully I did everything correctly
