Ok everyone....i was gonna wait for pic update till sunday, but since Christmas is tomorrow i figure an early Xmas present:)lol
First....the BD seed was up but i noticed half of it was tap root!!.....so me and LB did some emergency surgery:)...after the surgery she poped up more and is shedding her shell:)

Sweet update and great pictures GD. Great job on the micro surgery for lil helmut head! That is unfortunately a predominant characteristic of the seeds from my strain - very thick and hard shells that often won't open or grow off. It looks like you did a great job and she'll come through ok. I am so looking forward to watch your autoryders come along. Thank you for sharing kind sir - all the best to you, Cheers

Thank you for the kind words......you make me feel like i am on a pedestal:)......good thing LB is here to help me down:)lol
Those auto short ryders are funny.....one is 7", 12", and the one i supercropped was 16"......even the bud formation between the 3 of them looks different to me:)lol.....maybe i am just to stoned:).....i am really glad you found my journal to be useful....a lot of great people and growers here to hold us up:)......

I feel pretty confident that she is a trooper and will be my best girl yet:).....just the fact that an hour after the surgery she was already trying to shed her shell tells me that tomorrow lights on i will have another christmas present with her up and about with no shell:):Love:

A helpful hint for both of you, from someone who spends way to much time experimenting:
When you're using any kind of plugs, rapid rooter, or the ones in the aerogarden, take a toothpick insert it into the hole (im aware of the jokes to be made) And stab the ever living f&ck out of it at multiple angles so that taproots can pick their own path of least resistance.

And the helmet head/rough and tough seed casings you guys have to deal with, can be made childs play with a matchbox, and some semi-course sandpaper. ( a nail file also works, but you must be careful of your depth)
