But on a serious note....great info Jinn.....makes complete sense.....about stabbing it:)lol.....now you are the one responsible for the images in my head:)lol....
Now sanding it.....is that just on one side or around the entire shell?

if you notice your particular strain has issues with a tough seem not shell, then just going alone the ridge is fine.
Using the matchbox method though, allows you to lightly scar up the entire shell in a few seconds, which will allow the seed to pop open easier, as well as letting water inter the seed much easier.

Nice discussion gentlemen and as always :reading420magazine: and notes and :idea:! Scarification - most excellent jinn. I only ever 'assumed' that this technique was used for older hardened seed to improve H20 uptake and germination %. The added water uptake would make sense since I actually made the observation in my germination runs that the embryo and the membranes between it and the seed were not hydrating as much as I would expect with the rate of root growth. But the scarification definitely makes sense for improving the seed and membrane separation! Awesome sauce...now we're talking rocket surgery! :) Great info jinn and cheers to you both fine sirs!

Heya Green Dreamz! Merry Christmas day to you and all. A question if I may re: BAR's blog comment. I'm still learning new things everyday on this site. Is the blog like a note page (kinda like scrapbook) specific to one's own user profile? I had never even ventured to check that out yet. Thanks for any info/clarification.

happy dayz and know, ur under manners .... life will be be different but for others the entertainment value has doubled , u know the apple and I know ur hun does , nice thing is it's all in fun ...... love 2 ya both
and love the banter, it's like getting ur misses a job in local. But as she said so well I'm busy and have a life that doesn't a tent .All in fun but love conquers all and feels unlike anything , ravers and being loved up was just fake. Happy holidays, I've posted enough now am not trying to overstep any boundaries, whatever I am I respect personal boundaries.

Susat.....man your a riot...and dont worry mate....hard to overstep any boundaries here:)....as long as the mods are happy we are happy:)....and so far everybody seems to be happy:)lol I couldnt be happier that LB is growing and has her own journal....she is doing awesome so far.....her baby is coming right along:)
