What size airpots did you use welshy......i did try one of the auto short ryders when i first started in a 3 gallon airpot and yeah it didnt do well, but there was almost no root mass...i figured it was too big a pot for her....i hope these do well but its kind of an experiment to see how well they do in smaller pots:)

hi mate, I used 10 litre air pot when I did it. I think because auto plants grow its root system so fast that when the riot tip hits the air it then shoots more roots out and the plant just can't handle all the killing and growing off new roots. Just my theroy, no science just guessing lol

i think that is about twice the sizze of the ones i am using.....be interesting to see how these three do.....you might be right on your thinking though....we shall find out:)

was she in a airpot? Mine that i did in air pots i was only getting about that much dry but ones before that in 11" normal round pots i was getting at least 1 1/2 oz dry.

yes she was in a 3 gallon airpot, but i did grow an auto afghan and an auto berry adn got about 1 1/2 to 2 oz off them dry.....i dont know what happend with the auto short but hopefully i correct it this time:)....smaller pots but i know just a little more now:)

Now here is some pics of a defiency on my critical jack herrer....which was put in the flower room today......also pulled down the stems some on her, but while i was pulling her tip over some more....snap....and i do mean snap.....a couple of threads held her on but nothing more....i tried to tape her but only an hour later she was completely wilted so off with the top at the beginning of flower:)

Yup, that'll be a calcium deficiency you're seeing :) Shame about the snap mate, try pinch & twist next time, it's a lot safer :)

hehe....
another add on to this, is if you feed them silica, it increases the health of the plant, and the strength of the stem BUT makes it more prone to snapping during supercropping!
