Sometimes it doesnt pay to get to high and plant together:)

so i posted this on Skunnymonsters journal thinking i was on mine:)lol
so out of boredom i have ddecidded to throw a 3 gallon hempy grow into the mix to help keep me busy:)......if i am right i drill the hole about 2 inches from the bottom of the bucket?......then fill with 2 to 3 inches of clay pebbles?? now for the coco and perlite mix......percentages of each?? i have read a couple of journaols that explained it but i just dont remember the details.......so its a race between Skunny's journal and mine to see who answers first.....meanwhile i will be sitting by the computer twiddling my fingers waiting for a response:)lol

I run coco/perlite 50/50. You can line the bottom with river rocks, large chunks of perlite, glass marbles even.

Damn....thats where i got the coco from is you Jinn:)lol......wow.....i am cut off for a while:)lol i already filled it with all perlite......i will try it like that and see how it does....if i have issues then next time will try with the coco...so with that being said.....

Hempy bucket ready and waiting to recieve the barneys farm liberty haze seed that i just put into the aerogarden....wife said she is gonna start charging me rent....so i replied with i am gonna start charging you for weed:)lol.......she asked me if i need another spot in the aerogarden:):)lmao

Perlite alone works fine, you're just going to have to hand water a lot more often through out the day until their roots reach the res.
The way to defeat that, is to make a wick of vermiculite that goes from res to seedling.

I grew it before i started here.....grew it in ffof and a 5 gallon airpot......got close to 3 oz off her but could have gotten a lot more as i went of the breeders time instead of the trichs........all of them were clear and all the pistils were still white, but i got impatient:).....wont happen this go around:)

I dunno man im at the breeders time and im chopping pistils still only about 50 percent but trichs are mostly cloudy with
maybe 10 percent amber and 10 percent clear
plus it was starting to cat tail and wasn't looking like its gaining anymore weight
I wish I coulda at least waited a few more days but I need the room already so it has to go lol
so breeders time is close but you always gotta make your own call cause the breeders time is just their best estimate
as all things can affect the time it will take to finish and when its that close to being done things can change fast

Spot on Cronic.....

Never rely on just the one factor. Some say breeders choice, some say pistils and some say trichomes. I try and look at all three.

And yes, when things change from one to the next it can happen so quick. You don't want to be loosing that all mighty THC...LOL.

looking out of this world mate!
suggestion, get a screen for the hole on your hempy. using just perlite you're going to lose alot without one.

Hey Renegade....i started out trying to supercrop, but every time the next day they would be back to thier original position.....so i guess now i have switched to just lst......no scrog....i just want to make her grow a little wider.....really just experimenting.....she doesnt mind being tied down and i have been defoliating her every 4 to 5 days and she bounces back the next day.....so a little wider adn to give some time for the lower branches branches to get a little closer to the main stem....which i have pulled over at a 90 degree angle so everything can catch up some.....like i said....more experimenting to see what it does:)

I like it.

I did the same thing with my AG grow. Kinda stumbled into it but it worked. You can even pull the side shoots down once they get long enough.
